Ron, it's good to see you've joined the cafe group. Getting back to a routine is very hard. Be sure to get plenty of rest...you body still needs it even when you don't feel like it.
CM, so-o-o-o glad you and Wayne got sleep last night. Yay, Maddie for sleeping through the night.

Good Morning everyone. I don't usually make it to The Cafe and even when I do I am usually so late I have to help myself to whatever is left at the buffet! I'll have a triple latte made with pumpkin spice creamer. I love this time of year because you can get a lot of pumpkin flavored foods.

How are you both today? We are so excited that Maddie slept in her bed last night. I think she is feeling better from her strep throat too, which helps I am sure. We put some decals she had on her wall but higher up, next to her bed so she had lions, giraffes, elephants, etc around her bed so she can feel them and look at them and we turned her night light up a notch. Good Morning All! I was in withdrawal from yesterday, so I decided I had better check this morning! Now I can go off to my classroom safe in the knowledge that TDK is back on! I hope everyone can pop into the Night Shift this evening, then I can chat. I do tutoring in the morning. Tonight is Wildcat football night, but I am skipping the game. I go to see my daughter in the band and tonight they are just doing the cats routine--not the routine from competition, which was spectacular this year! Everyone I wish you a good day and hope that this Friday is the start of a restful weekend.

Yes. She's back in her crate, poor girl. I have a sheet over it to protect her from dust and drafts and those scary strangers all over the house. The part that she can see out of faces our bed and she can see out the window. After everyone leaves, she comes out, as long as we've blocked the stairs; don't want her up there yet. (I don't even want to go up there yet!) We're all sort of coping with this. We're living in our living room and I feel like making a fort for privacy!

Joan, let me know if you want to escape the craziness for a while - I'm just on the other side of the tunnel. You could even bring Leela :)
George was bad last night and bit me on the leg for the first time in a long time. I have no clue what provoked it; I came home, fed him, scritched his ears when he used the scratching post and the next thing I knew he was making his "I'm mad at you" yowling sound and he went for my leg.
We had a good morning, though. Hubby got rained out of his tennis game, so we were doing some chores around the apartment and George was "helping". I'm sure you can all picture what "helping" involves ("Whee, let's play!")
Hope everyone has a good day; looks like it's going to be kind of rainy here. I'm hoping hubby doesn't get rained out of tennis all weekend; one day is OK, but after that he gets cranky.

Good morning, all! I'm so glad TDK is back up - it was a long night at the gym last night without TDK!
I had a busy morning, got up early and went to walk and feed the dog I'm sitting, then went and fed XBF's cat, then went to the post office and picked up the hats Ange sent for the boys. Then fielded tennis phone calls - the other team forfeiting a match, calling one of my girls to tell her not to come, then getting a call from my pro telling me they don't have courts for us. I got mad as I had given them a schedule of when I needed courts. I'm headed over there now and am not sure whether we got the courts I need or not. I'll be embarassing to host a match and having to tell the opponents who drove over that we have no available courts :(
Gym is closing at 8:00 tonight, so I may just make it to the weekend. What a looooong week it's been.I'm off - I'll check back later.

I am SO late to breakfast today. I'll just have a bran muffin and a Chai tea today.
So tired... all week I've not been able to get to bed early enough or have had strange dreams. Wake up more tired than when I went to bed! And a very very busy weekend ahead for me as well. -
Morning all! Been up now for oh 2 hours. Feed Max scooped the poop, showered, and got semi dressed for home comfort. Can't headill out to get max's prize package until about 9:45 ish so that I can hit the bank and pay my phone bill then Salinas here I come hopefully get home in enough time to pick up chicken nachos for lunch at my fav restraunt yum hehehhe! Oh and my pay day is on the 10th so happy dance just a few more days!

Yippee is right KW!! I never thought I would celebrate someone sleeping in their own bed at night..lol. Let's hope her fear of her bed has now passed and she will be fine again.
I am still a bit sore, more on my bum then anywhere, but par for the course :)
