KW - Saturday will be a day spent with my son, his girlfriend, and my Dad. We're going golfing. Oh boy ... I haven't picked up a golf club in at least 4 years!
Sunday is a hula workshop from 8-4. All the kumus in the state are coming here with 2 alaka'i (assistants) to learn all the protocol chants and hulas for the opening and closing ceremonies at the World Hula Conference next July. I am one of the alaka'i for our halau. It will be fun and intense at the same time.
I took a chunk of money from savings to buy myself a camcorder. My brain will not absorb and remember 4-5 hulas in a day ! I think I made a good investment. -
Your weekend sounds busy but very fun, 2P. I wish I could go to the workshop with you! What kind of camcorder did you get? I've been looking a little bit online and am a bit overwhelmed by all the information.

KW - I picked up a JVC Everio. It records to a hard drive, no DVD or tape involved. It holds 30G of movies. I'm still figuring out how to use it ! The neat thing is it is so tiny ! Hopefully this link will work...

Hi all!
My team won the two positions we played this morning, and with the one they forfeited, we swept them - should help us in the standings!I've got a full weekend of work on Saturday (8:00-1:00), dog-sitting and cat-sitting for XBF. I also am going to bring the scrapbooking stuff I got over to the dog-sitting house and work on scrapbooks for Ron and Lauretta. I probably have to go meet the lady with the biting cat again, too, over the weekend as she's going away soon and wants to meet with me again.

Nap time for Maddie and she is fighting sleep. I read Goodnight Moon to her countless times and now she is running around in her room, but I know she will crawl into bed when she is ready.

Good morning, afternoon or evening (where ever you are on this planet). It is another busy morning. Have to go meet with my manager over a new project. I just wanted to say Happy Birthday Hermes. Extra scritchies and treats for you today.
Met with new attorney yesterday. Hopefully finish up with this horrible mess in the coming months, possibly by Feb latest. Bagels and donuts abound here at work. Yum.

Yay, just got a call! My class has been cancelled for today and I can stay home! Dang! Was looking forward to getting out into the cold and windy day. We didn't get the full brunt of that blizzard, only about an inch of snow but it's really windy right now. Good morning, everyone! Well, it's still morning here anyway.

Hi, everyone.
Just creeping in before noon to clean up donut crmbs (or donuts if there's any left). Sam just got back from his blood draw and has put on another two ounces! Now 8 pounds 15 oz. Today is one of his "I want to eat everyting" days, so have kept his bowl topped up. Since he's been in treatment, he eats four or five mouthfuls, goes away for ten minutes or so and comes back for more. Results back tomorrow from the lab.

Okay, so my new manager gives me a project of collecting pictures and putting them into a powerpoint presentation. Problem is she doesn't like the picture. So I am stumbling in the dark trying to put a template together and feeling a bit frustrated. I also started feeling upset because when I was told I still have a job, the senior director said we will see how the next eight weeks go. That either implied they will see how I do or how the company does. I started thinking about that and it got me feeling scared again about my job. I just read that the unemployment numbers were released today and they were going up. If this Christmas retail numbers are not good, I am thinking I could be out of a job come January. I got so concerned that I actually started crying at my desk. At these times, I miss having someone who could reach out and comfort me, i.e. give me real hugs and kisses. My cats can only comfort me so much. I need some real TLC.
