   Good for Barney! Dang papparazzi! What a doofus; advice to doofus reporters: safer to approach a strange doggie with knuckles forward, AND only upon approval of doggie person.

   The reporter was making such a big deal about having to keep it clean, bandaged and taking antibotics for the next few days. I think I would worry more about Barney and what he might get!!! Where's his antibotics...lol

    I side with Barney too! The reporter not only bent down to pet him
    with a large clipboard in hand, he went to pet a dog that didn't know him
    on the TOP of the head! That is an agressive gesture to the poor dog, no
    wonder he bit back. paulajeanne's right, knuckles forward, wait for the
    dog's approval and then pet him under the chin or low on the neck.

    * sheeesh!...* :D
