me too but im staying at my desk. I am going to pull out my books and articles and work on the debate. Technicaly I cant really do anything till after everyone sends me their work wich wont be till we meet today. Oh well. Im happy I get to be the last speaker in the debate :)

oh thats ok FH. I am here not doing homework and contemplating knitting some more.
I think I should head downstairs to the shops and get some fresh cat litter. Some air would be good. I live in a city that has steel plants so I dont know how fresh the air is lol.

Not really sick, WW! :)
I just needed a day to do absolutely NOTHING!! My principal is making me get certified in ESL, so I had to get up at 6 AM Saturday and go take a test. That really blew the whole day. Yesterday, we had my great nephew's 8th BDay party at Joe's Crabshack. Didn't get much of anything done around here this weekend!

Well, I agree with CM that everyone needs a mental health day, FH! Just glad to know that you aren't sick. I wish we had a Joe's Crabshack here - we all keep hoping.

I use any excuse I can not to clean...unfortunately, my house looks like it, too. LOL There is just so many more things that are better than cleaning.

I don't really houseclean at the moment; my home is a job site. Other than the dishes and Leela's crate, the only cleaning thing that's a priority is vacuuming and cleaning the floors when they all leave so we can take our shoes off and Leela can get out of the crate and run around. We had to hide our garbage cans in the shed. They put their garbage in there and totally don't seem to know that this is bear country and garbage has to be treated carefully. Yep, we found out the hard way that they didn't know that. Hubby: "do we still have those latex gloves?" Yuk!

I sort of did that Friday. I had a Doctor's appointment and then just took the rest of the day off. Hubby and I went to Lexington to shop, eat and go to a ball game. I'm paying for it today though!

Well just got back from the vet's for Max, even though he seems to have picked up in spirits, his appetite and bright eyed again, he has lost 1 lb since 6 wks ago and they found a small lump in his throat. So waiting for the blood work and the testing on the lump to come back and see what is the next step.
If anyone finds those techniques to levitate any cleaning device, oh share it please!!

Good morning all. It is going to be a busy week what with new hire training (we only have one this time around) and a big regional managers meeting the next three days.
I did six loads of laundry and now have nice clean bedding, towels and work shirts. I still need to do three more loads but will do them later in the week and a little at a time. I cleaned the kitchen, scrubbed the sink, ran the dishwasher and unloaded the dishes and cleaned the bathroom too. All is left is the laundry and some vacuming.
It was cold enough this weekend that I was able to sleep with the window closed. I like having fresh air but since my apartment complex is so noisy, I sleep better with it closed. I was able to talk to the guy who does the handywork around the place and he said that he wants to move to a unit that faces the water and if he is able to do that, I might be able to move to his unit which faces the hills and is away from the noisy courtyard. Only issue might be that it doesn't have the large three door closet in the bedroom and might not have a dishwasher. There are 85 units but some of the people are really long term renters. I am sure the better units do not go on the market very often.
So I think I would like some Scharffenberger hot chocolate with whip cream and a raspberry jam filled scone please. Thank you
