Another one needs a home

  1. This e-mail was forwarded to me this morning by a co-worker. It included a picture of a cream-and-white longhaired cat.

"Mowgli is a wonderful and loveable five year old male cat in need of a great home. He is low maintenance and has all of his shots and no claws. Free to a good home." The owner's name and phone number follow.

I'm in northeast Georgia, but it isn't apparent from the phone number where Mowgli is right now (area code is 803); perhaps it's a cell phone.

  2. Sending Prayers for Mowgli...even if transport was possible..my place is NOT setup for a fulltime indoor kitty. He sounds like a very beautiful cat. I have to wonder why the owner is relinquishing such a beautiful family member. Hope it's not an illness. Poor Kitty..losing his home and family. Sad

  4. Area code 803 is South Carolina, I googled it. Poor Mowgli :( Just like my Mogely only spelled different. I wonder why he's being given up too? He sounds like a very sweet cat.

  7. Mistake: This isn't the owner looking for a home, it's a foster caregiver looking for a permanent placement for Mowgli.
