  1. More news! Now I have another sick kitty. Watson is running a fever and I have put him on clavamox. Whatever this is, it's heavy duty upper respiratory.

  2. Oh my! I hope your babies are feeling better soon. Take care of yourself and get lots of kitty snuggles.

  3. oh Lordy! At one point I had to medicate several of mine at once(years ago). I used gravy to give them afterwards so I wouldn't have to wrestle with them so much to give them Clavamox. It went pretty well,I actually had one cat get in line again for some more yummy gravy. Medication time was a hit.

  4. I hope they don't all pass it back and forth. At least you know what to look for and you can start them on medication as soon as the first symptom appears.

  6. Bobbi! This is not very good news. I am glad to hear that they are being treated, but I hope that they recover quickly. They need to stop sharing! They are like little kids--always have to share the germs, just not the toys! My prayers are with them and you too. May the kittens recover to full health and you have peace and comfort. You are probably pretty stressed, they are lucky that you are taking care of them.

  8. Good luck with Watson, Bobbi! You and Ale need to open a veterinary hospital wing in your homes!! I hope they recover quickly and don't pass this along to any of your other kitties.

  11. Bobbi, I am almost sure that you can get Clavamox in the transdermal gel form. Worth checking out, it may be a little more expensive but it sure is easier than trying to get the pills down more than one cat!

  13. Just an update. Saw Bitsy eat today, and he feels a lot cooler to the touch than the last few days. I'ld say he is on an upswing. Haven't seen Watson yet. These guys can really hide.

  18. Lots of healing energy for Bitsy and Watson. It sounds a lot like what Dara came down with while we were in the States. She was still sneezing recently so we're going to take her in for a checkup before she goes back to the cattery at Christmas.
