I think we might be able to guess where your daughter got her mind set KW!! I have a feeling she is a lot like Mom!
Sweet dreams and peaceful rest Deb! Had a garage sale a couple of doors down--I threatened to go buy the cannon they had in the yard to use when not getting my way. Hubby gave daughter strict orders to make sure I didn't walk down there. I don't think that it really works, or maybe....

I have been in and out. Daughter had a driving lesson today. She is apparently doing better than expected. He was very pleased with her driving. She will drive one more time with him and then test. Today she avaoided an accident that was very difficult to avoid. A driver came up an alley and burst into the busy street she was on never stopping. She had good reflexes, hit the brake, and slid to the side of the road. He looked at her and said good job. When I picked her up he said as far as he was concerned she was a very good driver. Something totaly different than last week.

I was wondering yesterday where you've been, Chey!
I'm now starting my weekend!!!! I'll last until 7:30 tomorrow! Arrrrgh. I picked up my friend at 10:30 and went to her husband's office where she showed me around and gave me some instructions. I cleaned from 11:00 to 2:45. Oh, my, that office really is larger than I remembered!!!! My back is hurting and I didn't think to eat breakfast or early lunch before going there, so I was starving.
I'm going to discuss with my friend how much she's going to pay me. Her husband came and made up a code for the alarm for me and gave me a key, so I'm all set. I'm really not loving cleaning, but I'll love it when I can cash the check every month :) -
Umm, I really wouldn't pick up that dust cloth again until you have settled on a fair price, GD. It's hard work so don't sell your time short.

Good for you!!
I saw an ad in the paper here that Molly Maids is hiring and they pay $13/hr. I never made that much per hour as an RN!!! I told my best friend here that we already do cleaning every week at home for nothing. Sure we hate it, but if there was a pay check attached I could probably be persuaded.

Actually it's a bit awkward because they're friends of mine - we'll see how it turns out.
I'm having cheese and crackers now and contemplating prolonging the torture and cleaning my place while I'm at it. Probably won't happen, though.
I have to go meet the crazy lady with the biting cat tomorrow morning at 7:30 in the morning. Arrrrrgh! -
Gosh - crazy lady and biting cat? Forget cleaning your house. Lay down with a plate of cheese, the boys and watch an old movie.

Yeah, really!!!
This wacky woman still owes me money from the last time I cat-sat about 2 months ago. I didn't bother to contact her about it because it was only $20.00, but I'm going to make sure she gives me at least half up front this time as she's going away for 8 days and it's more money. As a matter of fact, I'll probably ask her for all of it in advance.
(she did mention quite casually that she owes me money, so I guess maybe I'll get my $20.00 afterall). -

It's so cold here that The Girls got in bed with us last night. And this morning when I read the paper, Windi snuggled up between my legs!!! (I think she likes the cords at the neck of my robe but, hey - whatever it takes!).

I love the cooler weather - especially because there is a better chance of a fuzz butt curling up with me on the bed for a while.
Right now they're staring at Nature out the open window and whenever they come say hello, their ears, paws and noses are cold. They're loving it! -
