my stay in NY has come to a temporary, early end. the family is gettng other guests from india over and i'm being kicked out for a few days until my bday. and mum gets her hearing aid tomorrow (say what? huh? lol). anyway, i wanted to thank everyone again for being so supportive of me for staning up on that tough issue i mentioned. i knew i couldn't back down, because in my heart i knew the situation was wrong and i was not going to feed into it, but i felt like i was alone at the time. my husband even had the nerve to ask me why i was being racist...i told him im not racist, as i foten mention i like ayone who is respectful, it's when they use others and play games with other's heads is when it corsses the line. anyway, it will be back down to PA for a few days, next thursday my old buddy and i will be going to see cobra starship (if u saw snakes on a plane, they did the music for it.) so for a night, i will dress kinda silly, sorta punky, and let myself loose a bit. it will also be a meet n greet n will be the firts famous ppl i ever got to meet. so ill have some sorta bragging rights there! oh, and if anyone is curious to hear sikh 'church music' - or what we call kirtan -
