  1. Hi All,

I am posting this from the library computer, since due to a storm I have NO phone and NO internet!!!! So when I don't show up for Night Shift, you will know the reason. <sobs> I called the automated number, which reported that a line was down in my area and it would be fixed by THURSDAY.

    Help me......

  3. I could hear that scream from here!

  4. Catwoman - what a bummer! We will miss you, and expect you back promptly on Thursday.

  5. MerD, I doubt if I will have the much-needed loss of appetite...more likely to have increased appetite for comfort food!

Ppearson, the library closes soon, and I will be forced to go out in the cold rainy storm and go home to my internetless house. The horror!!!!

  8. Maybe I should do some cleaning? Nah. Let's not get hysterical and overreact.

  9. LOL When ours was out, I must have been hysterical and overreacting, because that is all I did, is clean!

  10. OOOH No - I know the awful feeling. I don't curse as a rule, but let something happen to my cable internet and the neighbors would be able to report me for loud cursing and gnashing of teeth. Hang in there. Sometimes they give a longer estimate and you could get it tonight or tomorrow.

  16. Hey Tigerpaw! I do have a fireplace but the woodpile is drenched. I like your idea, though; maybe I can stop by the store and buy one of those bags of wood they sell out front. You are right, hot chocolate is much more appropriate than wine on nights like these, and I will put on some soft music and read.

  17. You know Catwoman..that is probably the alcoholic beverage I will miss the most..you have to get one of ou California friends to pay a visit to Santa Ynez..there is a winery there, Foley Estates, one of the best Merlots I have ever had..

  18. OHHH I like reccomendations when it comes to wine, sounds like homework to me :-)

Posted 4 years ago by MerD #

  19. Where is Santa Ynez?

Posted 4 years ago by Catwoman #

  21. Hi CCm,know what you mean, bro'! I lost the taste for all alcohol b'cept a good Merlot, thanks for mentioning that! lol. It's ok though,as I've gotten through 13 months of sobriety and counting.:-)

  22. You can only get it at the winery or one of the resturants the guy owns..I used to work for Fidelity Title IS dept. the CEO of Fidelity owns the winery so when their comps had problems I got to go and fix them.

  27. Hello all,
It's my day off today. Hooray... I am so beat after work sometimes, that I needed a rest.
The leaves are so gorgeous now. We had a warm, breezy day today, somewhat cloudy. Rain is expected. I'm afraid that will knock all the beautiful leaves off. :( Seems so happen every year. Fall is just TOO SHORT!!

  28. 12PAWZinFL..I think Fidelity Information services (same CEO as Fidelity Nat Title) is in FL
