   Mr. KW experienced an additional symptom after being discharged from the ER last night. Without going into graphic detail, the docs decided he needed to return to the hospital (no fancy ambulance ride this time!) for further testing and monitoring. We spent about four hours in the ER this second visit before they decided to admit him so they could do blood testing over a period of time. They think he might have had some sort of gastrointestinal bleed so they are going to schedule him for one of those up close and personal scopings. (Sorry if this is TMI.)

   I came home at 4am and got a few hours sleep. I'm heading back to the hospital and will keep you updated as I know more. I am very impressed with the care he is receiving and the kind manner of the doctors and nurses.

   Mr. KW is in good spirits but very tired due to no real sleep. It is a hospital after all! He did ask me to bring him his laptop so I will direct him to TDK to read the kind comments on the first thread I started about his after turkey trip to the ER. (He did get to have a piece of pumpkin pie between ER trips.) :)

   Any prayers, good thoughts and healing white light you can send his way would be much appreciated. Thanks, family!! {{{hugs}}}

   I was worried about him all night KW,I'm glad he is in the hospital so they can find out what's wrong.
   You and Mr KW have healing white light and prayers for them to find out what's wrong and for it to be easily remedied.

   Prayers and good wishes for Mr. KW and for you to have the strength to be there during this time. Also hope that both of you can get some rest in-between doctors/nurses coming into the room.

   Oh dear, I missed the thread about his "adventure" yesterday! I'm glad he is in good care and I hope he feels better soon. (I love that he got a piece of pie in - priorities, you know! LOL)

    This news was quite distressing. I hope the hospital & staff can get to the bottom of Mr. KW's episodes. And hoping they can put an "All Better" sign on him & send him home for a second piece of pie. Nothing like a good piece of pie to make things all good in the world.

    I'm set up in hubby's private hospital room (has a very nice view of downtown Eugene). We're just waiting for him to be taken to another location for his scoping tests sometime today. There is a nice futon-like sofa in the room and I can stay the night if he is here overnight again.

    Hubby says thanks to the TDK family for your kind wishes, positive thoughts and prayers. I've told him that the collective strength of the TDK family is mighty! :)

    Doc says might be a lower GI bleed and has decided to keep hubby overnight so his system can be prepped for scoping tomorrow. Hubby is finally getting some rest. He is not in any pain and feels better after getting to shower. He is a trooper! :)

    I am glad he is feeling better even if he is in the hospital. Gotta remember though hospitals are not for resting, we are here to bother you as much as possible on the doctor's orders.

    Glad to hear the doctors are keeping right on top of it, though. That in itself is a blessing. He is in the best place he can be right now.
    (Make sure to thank an RN for keeping those docs up to speed. :D)
    Oh...and Mr. KW? That's a court order! lol

    KW, I am so sorry to hear of this but on the other hand, the hospital is the best place for Mr.KW right now so that a diagnosis can be made. Then a treatment plan and he'll be on the right road again! Sadly, a hospital is no place to get any sleep :-( I used to work nights on a surgical unit and I know how many times we had to go into a patients room. Try as you might, they always wake up.

    Tell him not to stress over the scope procedure. They will use the "happy drugs"!

    You all are in my prayers. Tell Mr. KW if he doesn't get well and escape from there soon, the TDK nurses will be coming for him. Not to mention Emma!

    It must have been the song and dance with crazy cat people in ninja suit weilding wahck bonk sticks! Enough entertainment for the holiday season. Now it is time to cuddle and recuperate! KW if there is anything that I can do I will. You know that I am praying for Mr. KW's health and peace and comfort for you. Stick close together. Please remember how loved you both are.

    Oh NO! I missed the original thread as well! I'm glad to hear that Mr KW is feeling better now. Hopefully, the doctors will get to the bottom of things (no pun intended!), figure out what's wrong and get him back on the road to recovery. Sending prayers, healing energy, white light and hugs!
