Rabitos?

(19 posts)
  1. Forgive my brain slip, but *someone* told me that when I was in Spain I *had* to try the Rabitos...I never saw them and I believe PM at the time had not heard of them either. I was just perusing a Spanish foods site here in the US and came across this...

I think I may need to try these for the chocolate blog I write for...research purposes only, of course! :-)

  7. Uh-oh...... I'm not a chocolate eater normally but dark chocolate is my downfall. And I adore figs, although here where I live you have to take out a bank loan to buy any. And since bank loans don't appear to be readily available these days, it has been ages since I had a fresh fig.

    These look absolutely sinful!

  10. Oh no, when you are in Spain you have to try paella. And then have some more, just for me. It's just not the same to get it in the States. I miss Spain!

  11. I'm happy to say that I had the paella when I was there last Feb/March visiting the wonderful Pipa'a Mum! PM made sure that Rubia and I had the real thing in Toledo and not some nasty stuff meant for the tourists.

RV, you are right, it was absolutely delicous. I miss Spain too! I feel like it was all a dream.

  13. CW, I don't remember who, but it was a TDK person who suggested them to you; stuck in my memory because I thought it was a rather strange combination! I like figs but not dark choc, not sure I would like these
