It's 7am and still not light out yet. Chilly and dark..I think I need some more hot tea. How is everyone this wonderful Wednesday?

AZdeb, the whiz! I am so jealous! I've been getting my stamps once a week and then doing as many as I have stamps for. At this rate the last will go out around Christmas Day! Yes, Deb, how are you feeling??

Good morning...hot tea, please! It's snowing and blowing and the temps are falling...ugh...winter. Love it as long as I don't have to get out and drive in it. But, of course, got to make money so the kitties can eat.

Hi everyone! Another rather chilly day here, but the sun is shining. Our house is starting to look like a house - they're making progress! Maybe we can have a Christmas tree after all! In the meantime, I've really been enjoying the cards that have been coming in - it means a lot.

She is such a trooper! We keep telling her that her days in the crate are numbered and she will get to go upstairs to the new part of the house very soon. My brother has been worried about her being cooped up all day. He is concerned that her awsome purrsonality will change. So sweet of her uncle! He came up the other day, supposedly to check out the house (he's an engineer, just like our Dad was), but he's just as much of a sucker for kitties as all of us and we reassured him that she seems just fine. She plays all evening; dragging her new bed we got from a friend as well as Larry out of the crate, sleeps at the foot of our bed each night, and resumes her kitten crazies in the morning till it's time to go back to her personal shelter. She's living a good life and she's keeping hubby and I sane!

CM & SOM, I am doing, at least the pain in the arm is manageable. Have another appointment this morning with the accupuncturist so that should help.
Joan, you will love it once its done, even though the construction is a pain in the behind now.

Joan, hugs to Leela for being such a good kitty. I hope things keep progressing for you. It probably seems like forever since your house has been in order.
Deb, hope your pain gets better. I'm still dealing with the knee and leg pain, particularly when walking, but I try to keep going and not let it get to me.
Wish I had my cards done. I can't even get to the storage unit where I have my Christmas stuff. I may try to do something a little different this year.

Good morning, all!
I slept well last night - yay! I've fixed up the bathroom with some toys and a big beach towl folded up as a bed and I stuck Bobby in there last night when he started fighting with Mi. He slept all night! Yay!
I've finally got my "day of beauty" today - one dog-sitting client offered to have me come to her salon and color and cut my hair as part of my payment and since I needed a haircut and she was having some money issues, I took her up on it. I'm looking forward to it, but not to spending hours in the salon like she's planned. I get bored easily since I'm used to running around so much, and I start thinking about all the things I need to get done while I'm sitting on my butt with tin foil on my head!

Morning everyone!!! burrrrr..... had to lots of kitty cuddling this am.. Abby wouldn't let me get up!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to all you smart, wonderful people who told me how to get pet odors out of my carpet!! Cuddles had been spot peeeeing - she's now being treated for a UTI.... your superb advise recommended that I use an enzyme product, well boy what a difference. I borrowed my mom in law's hand held carpet shampooer, bought a specific pet enzyme product, and after only one application - I couldn't smell anything this morning!!! IT really worked well! Thanks

I love this cooler weather - I searched for 15 minutes for my second boot and finally found it. I get so excited when I can wear boots in South Florida - it only happens 3-5 days a year or so. I'm off to my hair appointment. I hope this woman is good at what she does - I'm getting a bit nervous!
I didn't finish last night - I did 4!!!! :)
As for the salon, I went at 10:30 like scheduled and the idiot at the desk said I was scheduled for one thing at 12:45 and one at 1:30. I asked him if I wasn't down for a coloring at 10:30 and he said no, so I left. I am SO annoyed! My friend who set this up who works at the front desk called and left me a message that she was sorry it got messed up and that she's rescheduled me for next Thursday. I can't do next Thursday and I just drove 20 minutes there and 20 minutes back when there are so many other things I need to do that I could have done. I also missed my pre-paid team practice that I won't be able to make up, so that's 17 bucks out the window in addition to the gas money. Grrrrr!
At least I was happy to get back and find Marsha's Chester as TDK!
In addition, Sugar and Spice's mom works at the salon and I had hoped to track her down for money. She'd promised to leave me half the money at the house that first day, but she didn't. Now I'm going to have to deal with having to try to get money out of her.
I'm not having a good day here!
Oh no, GD! That really sucks when people mess up with scheduling appointments. Don't they understand that people make an effort to work around the appt and when it doesn't happen it throws a wrench into a pre-planned day. Sheesh. Sorry your dog-watching client didn't pay you and that now you have to hunt her down.
Ladykat, your knee and leg issues sound quite painful. I hope you heal quickly.

AV, that is so great when a product works! I bet you did a little happy dance and not smelling any cat pee. That stuff can be quite strong.
I was feeling a little frustrated with my job yesterday. I had not much to do and my manager kept walking past my cubicle like I was being checked up on. They are working on budget items and it makes me nervous as I don't feel my job is all that secure. I know HR said they are to keep me but the Senior Director said it all depends on the time between Oct 30 and when we come back from Holiday shutdown. So I am having a nice pumpkin scone and a grande mocha from Starbucks. Here is hoping things will work out.

It was the cat-sitting lady who didn't pay me (she's a hair dresser at the salon). In addition to that, the one who was cutting my hair owed me that since she couldn't pay me and the woman who works the front desk and scheduled all this owes me money for a weekend dog-sitting for her.
I'm so annoyed right now, I don't even want to go at all.
Whirls in doing the new "I can't smell cat-pee anymore" dance that SMM just taught her! LOL~!!!!... on to the next "issue" Cuddles (again) has found a new way to get back at me!! You know I've been giving her pills (6 down, 4 more days to go thank goodness - my fingers are all scared!) for the supposed UTI (remember the vet never could get a sample from her to confirm, but we're treating her anyway!) .... well, now as soon as I give her the pill (I have to gator-wrestle with her to get it down)... she runs downstairs, and gobbles up food real fast so she pukes..... of course, up comes the pill with all the food she just threw up!! Twice now she's done that.... what can she possibly think up next?
