Karen, did you miss that story about the Thames? There was a thread a while back where everyone was giving me a very hard time about my...err... maturity. When we went on our cruise on the Thames Mr. WWM innocently said that he had been married to his best friend for _ _ years. MCW piped up and said, in a shocked voice, "_ _ years??? That's longer than I have been alive!".
And that's when she very nearly went overboard.....

ok, I'll give it a "go"... I was walking down by the Thames, eating my "crisps", when I decided I had to use the "loo", so I stood in the "que" for about 10 minutes, only to discover I had to pay!! Continuing my walk, I saw a "bobbie" who was giving directions to a family. He was telling them to get on the "dual carriage way" from London to the hotel they were looking for. The little child in the family keep asking his "mummy" if he could put on his "swimming costume" when they arrived. She told him he'd better be "bloody" good, or he would not be allowed to swim!!
KUK - that's about the extent of what I learned on UK vacation! LOL!~! :)

Oh, the stress I have been under!!! Mr. WWM went to a meeting and so I had about an hour to do some on-line shopping for him. I wanted to get him some bike stuff and I know nothing about it so had to have a "live chat" with a sales representative. It seemed to take me forever to wade through the pages of items to look at. At least now I have a start on a few gifts for him!
