Good Morning!!!
GD...I had a dog that I had to give pills. He always spit them out..so I would put a little peanut butter on them and they would kinda stick in his mouth and he would have to swallow them...but not sure about doing that to a cat. Never tried it.

I've shut my door, put down a fresh litter box, some kitty crunchies (the good stuff) and fresh water. There's also a big windowsil where Milo can watch the birdies and the occasional bunny and chipmunk. With all this, I know I can get the upper hand on the blues!

I'm back.... finally got her re-pilled.... for sure this time, daughter watched her for 30 min. to be sure!! I've tried pill pockets, she won't touch them with a 10 foot pole! Peanutbutter .... I don't know, she has to eat that i/d food because of stomach problems (pukes a lot).... but that does give me an idea.... the vet gave me some laxadone to give her to help with the hairballs, and that stuff is sticky like pb, maybe I'll coat the pill in that that just might make it stick in her mouth so she can't spit it out! LOL it's hard to out-fox Cuddles!!!

Good morning everyone! (I'm a late riser, even though I have been at work for 2 hrs, I'm not REALLY awake till around now...its 10:50am here in MA! Happy birthday CM! Happy birthday to Milo too! Hope you feel better JFNJ! The blues are a toughy! i get a case of them every now and again! Thats why we have fluffy lil kitties to make us all feel wonderful inside!
This is my first time in the cafe...but I've seen a few food orders....So my pregnant self would love one of everything on the menu please!!!!!Yum! Oh and some kitty treats for the babies too!

AV, I'm going to be a millionaire too. Since I didn't get the credit for the egg McMuffin that I invented at least 5 years before McDonalds did. My neighbor and I have found that bears do not get into our garbage nearly as much as everyone else around us. Because...there's used kitty litter in there - bears hate it! I actually saw a bear get into my garbage, go thru a few things and when he got to the litter, grunted and moved on to the next house!
We all know that kitties have a built-in sense that when their humans clean the box, they must immediately use it. Normally not that big of a deal, but Leela is crated all day during construction, and she does it after I've captured her and put her in the crate. I can't have her in a stinky crate all day, especially since I have it covered on all sides except one to keep out drafts, dust, and workers' nosy faces. Let's see... what will we call it... how 'bout "BEAR AWAY" LOL!!! And of course this is an expensive product, because it's custom made !! hahahah

Morning.afternoon all! Joan, I hope the blues turn to sunshine soon. I had a miracle happen yesterday and I thought I would share. On November 15, I went to a late night ballgame and was out in the freezing cold, but was bundled up. The next day I noticed that my anniversary band was missing from my finger. I assumed that it had come off when I took off my gloves on the walk to the car. Yesterday I was digging something out of the side pocket of my purse and there was my ring!!! It was in the pocket where I keep my splenda packs! It must have come off at dinner before the game when I was digging out some splenda for my tea! Happy, happy, happy!

Glad that you found your ring Kykat. Must have been a nasty surprise to see it missing. You made me think about how last night I was trying on my grandmother's wedding band (platinum setting with minature diamond chips) and it actually fit. Then I tried on my birthstone ring (peridot) and it fit too. I was happy as it reminded me how before I couldn't wear them as my finger were too fat. I believe I have lost about 10-15 lbs since my leaving my marriage (one year and two months now). It doesn't really show (although my niece was so kind to say I looked as though I had lost some weight).
AV and JL, you two are a riot about the cat litter! If you become millionaires, can I help run the office for you? I promise to make it cat friendly so we can have cats in the office to help when we are busy.
My upstairs neighbors weren't home last night so I actually got to sleep through the night! Whoohoo! Now I am hoping they will be gone tonight as well. One can only wish.
I am so tired this morning and still haven't gotten my christmas cards done. I will laze about tomorrow and will get them done this weekend. I want to send them out by tomorrow if possible. Need to go buy some stamps. Only two and half weeks till the nice 11 days off (office shutdown between Dec 25th and Jan 2 plus the weekends). I am thinking of taking Dec 24th off since it will be quiet and why spend time in the office. Then again, I might not want to take the day off if they have people leave by noon.
