    I just checked with my manager and she said it was okay for me to take Christmas Eve off since she will be taking it off as well. I said I didn't want to be out in traffic as it will be bad with everyone traveling and all the last minute shoppers out there and she agreed with me. She will be flying out on Christmas eve to Alabama to be with family there.

    So now I have a total of 12 days off (from Dec 24-Jan 2). Yippee!! I will use one of those days for some lab work that I have been putting off since my physical back in Oct as well as the yearly female checkup appt (ick). I planned to spend the rest of the time just sleeping, eating, hanging out with two wonderful and crazy cats. I might take some short day trips around the SF Bay Area. I might even venture into San Francisco for some daytime wandering about as well as maybe visit my Aunt and Uncle for lunch in the Northbay area. It will be nice to have the time off.

    Popping in after cleaning 6 toilets!! Almost as bad as the cat boxes!!! SMM of course you can work in the office.... we'll put you in charge of keeping up with all the orders that will be pouring in.... and you bet our office will be cat friendly.... we'll need tons of them to produce massive amounts of "Bear Away"!!!!LOL

    Just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful weekend! I've had so much fun talking to you all today, but I have to actually do some work now(jeepers!)... I probably won't be able to talk to you all till monday, my weekends are getting very bust with this baby coming and all! Have a puuurfect day!

    SMM, I am jealous of all the time you will have off over the holidays. I know you will enjoy it! Sylvester and Mia will enjoy having you home too! Maybe you will get lucky and the upstairs neighbors will be out of town too!

    Hi all! I won my tennis match!!! I then went to train with the others at work in the new computer system - a complete waste of time!!!The idiots were thinking we'd be up and running today - no way! The dude on the phone scheduled another two training sessions next week! Anyway, after almost two hours, we finally get to trying to check someone in. Well, it was a trainer's brother who doesn't pay, but comes and works out regularly. He's still in our system, and has to sign papers and all. Well, turns out this new system doesn't have a way of adding non-paying clients!! Hahahaha - since we have complimentary memberships for the police department, the swat tewam, all fighters and some people's family members we have about 150 non-paying clients who can't be added to the system!!! They told us there was a way of adding them as prospects, but we'd have to pay 38 cents per person per month! Hahahaha - we'll have to pay to have people working out for free.
    it was funny - EBL sat in on the session and alternately cursed out her brother (BB) and DQ. Anyway, we had to finally end the session when the support guy had another session scheduled. We accomplished absolutely nothing :)

    Karin, I envy you your 12 days off - I'll have one day of - on the 25th. I'm working 8-1 on the 24th.

    GD, this amount of time is nice since it is my second time of having it off and actually being paid. Back in Dec 2007 I actually started my job two weeks before the company went on the holiday break.

    I wasn't paid when I was a temp and didn't enjoy it as much. I haven't actually taken much of a vacation anywhere and am trying to save up for Spain and Germany next year so the 12 days is nice to have. That total amount is including the weekends.

    It will be one year next Wednesday that I have been at this company. Time sure has flown.

    I have to do some errands before I go home. I have to return a shirt to Target as it was not made well (one side is a little longer than the other). Everyone is leaving now to go home. I can't wait to leave myself. I am really tired after not getting enough rest this week. Need to sleep in tomorrow big time.

    I have a nice chicken marsala and a green salad from Trader Joe's for dinner. It is calling me now.
