Thanks for all who sent me cards this year. Makes me feel like I heel that I can't even begin to reply to all of you.

This is a "no guilt" zone. I'm very happy to see you posting, Arcalian. How are you???? Have you found another job?? Please let us know how you are doing.
My philosophy about the cards is that I have no expectation of getting any in return. No one "owes" me a card just because I sent one. I get a great deal of joy out of writing and sending them. It gives me a moment to think about the person I am sending the card to and I have a smile on my fact the whole time I'm doing the cards. What could be better than that??? :D
2P, you are precious to me and everyone else on TDK. I enjoy your posts and I can't wait to see you in March for the Arizona Aloha Festival! Woo hoo!!

I too want to take this opportunity to thank so many for their generosity again in sending cards and in some cases gifts as well. I'm feeling a shimmer of guilt as Arcalian and 2 POP in that it would be so lovely to send such a special love and recognition to those who add so much to my life on this site. It's only natural to feel this way. Then I remember that one of the things that make you all so special is the unconditional love and caring you all give. Thank you all and God Bless You! =)

Arcslian, I'm with KW here. I sent out far more than I've received, but I'm fine with that. This year I could afford to do it, but I may not be able to next year. There were some years I would cry because I didn't have the funds to send cards to people who sent them to me, but I realized that the Christmas spirit is to give what you can and don't worry about receiving 'more' than you give. Sometimes it's ok to receive more than you can give. It's ok (hug)

I can say that last year when I sent out the christmas cards, I got such a joy out of knowing that they would be enjoyed. I know I will send them out this year with the same joyful feeling.
Thank you to those who have already sent me cards, Rubia, KK, DaisyMew and a few others that I forget at the moment (sorry am at work and am doing several things at once in addition to posting here).

Me too, me too...remember, it is truly better to give than to receive...is that not the spirit of Christmas!!
I am sure that I am not alone is saying that these cards are sent out of friendship and with best wishes. Nothing is expected in return, except for hopefully continued participation in sharing of our furry friends.
Merry Christmas adn Best wishes to all in the coming year.Posted 3 years ago by Tigerlilly #

I,too, owe such a debt of gratitude to so many here at TDK. Many times I've done the "Pay It Forward" each & every opportunity I've had. I'd like to be able to send cards to every TDK Family member here, but, realistically can't. I send a few to those I can. I know that wonderful feeling we all get when giving a gift to a loved one, even if it's only a card.
So,not only do I enjoy recieving the cards & they make me smile, but,I also think of the smiles on the faces of the senders, who at that moment, are getting gratification from sending them. That helps melt my guilt away. Thanks You Guys...I Love You All!!!! Meowy Much!!!!

Arcalian..... You're not a heel(FUZZ)!! The comments you post on the main page is like receiving cards from you all year long. I,for one, always try to guess what you will come up with. I've been close a few times, but for the most part your cleverness always outshines mine!!! :)

Ditto on all the above, I can send the cards this year and may not be able next year, so please don't ever feel guilty about not sending them.....friendship does not require tit for tat, just requires friends :)

You did respond, Arcalian, by posting that you received them and letting us know you are ok. That's what friends do, in whatever form they can. Good luck with the job hunting. I know what you mean. Having trouble myself. Take care my friend and happy holidays to you.
