  1. I was able to make a trip to Petsmart late this afternoon. All the kittens they had were being offered by the local rescue here Happy Pets. Some may very well have been rescued by my neighbor (we're on good terms again,Thank Goodness). There was a trio of siblings that were so precious. One of the little sillys was so fired up,it was chasing it's tail in between flying up & down their toy climber.
There was a real sweetie pie named Parker (4 mos.old)with medium length beautiful black fur with just a brush of white on his chest. I almost kissed the glass, his face was so cute. He was partnered in with a beautiful Spangle Bengal kitty. I swear, it looked like a miniature bengal tiger. Just gorgeous.
I'm sure they all have a good chance of getting adopted out.

  2. that's nice Susie,I'm glad to hear their prospects are hopeful. The PetSmart close to me hardly gets any business and the kitties are there for a while sometimes. They seem to have a good rescue there though,I've talked to some of the ladies before. :)

  3. Awww...if they're as sweet as you've described Susie I'm hopeful someone will take them..."kitten season" seems to be getting longer and longer, doesn't it? We just had 2 groups of 8 kittens each brought into the shelter within the last 3 weeks (a couple of different litters) and I'd say about 4 months old as well..the good news is that 10 of them have found homes!

  4. Fred was a PetSmart rescue..he was found in another county, as a stray as a baby and somehow ended up in PetSmart near us and my mom found him and adopted him :)

  5. I'm glad to hear that you and your neighbour are on friendly footing again. Since you both want the same thing (happy kitties in loving homes) and you both work to keep the ferals as healthy as possible, it's great to know that you are can now spend your energy on that goal. I know how hard it is to 'forgive and forget' and I'm happy to hear you have found the strength to do so.

  7. Awwwww...How sweet the image is of you 'nearly' planting a big smooch on the window for the kitties! You are such a hopelessly real cat lady little sis! It's a good thing and I wish we had a Petsmart near us so that I could go and slobber all over the window panes too! Hahahah! =D

  8. I went to PetSmart yesturday (Christmas Shopping For My Babies) and oh my gosh! There was a grey cutie pie. His name was Dale, and he was 10 months and just a doll baby! I wish I could take them out of the cages, but instead when I walked in he woke up, meowed, walked over to the doors, and let me pet him and tell him how pretty he was.
If I didn't have 6 cats, a dog, and a rabbit... Dale would be Charlie's new big brother!

His story was that he was abandoned at the Humane Society... I hope someone falls in love with him soon

  9. You all would melt if you saw the little sweetheart in there now. Her name is Samantha. She's 1 yrs.old. Long-haired Chocolate Seal Point with blue eyes the color of Gini's Taco. The owners moved away & just left her behind.

I want them all!!!! Anyone know a Secret Millionaire who could help us TDKers with a rescue of our own? Like the Cat on the Kings. What a fantasy!

  12. Chance was a Petsmart kitty from a rescue group from a nearby city. I think Petsmart does its best to place cats in a good home because I had to fill out a two page form and have an "interview."

  13. I always look at the kitties when I go to PetSmart. A few years ago, when I was out of work, there was a beautiful Maine Coon who kept meowing at me and rubbing his body on my hand on the cage. I could sense he was for me, but I didn't have the money for the adoption fee. I cried for days after, knowing he should have been mine. **still wiping tears again** Hope he found a good home.

  14. That's why I find it hard to visit the kitties at the PetSmart anymore. I adopted Gracie, Julius and Spooky from local PetSmarts. They were each just too cute to pass up.

  15. Sheba's Mom...That little darlin at Petsmart looked just like your Sheba in your avatar. I'm okay watching them & rubbing my hands on the glass when they rub against it. I'm so glad tho that I can't hear their mews or actually touch them, then i would have a hard time leaving. I just might have to camp out in the store.

  16. Our local rescue has some of their kitties at Petsmart. Susie, if it's naything like here, hopefuly it's a no kill rescue. Some of the kitties here waited 2 years but ultimately found a home. My Mickey, Kara and Karina were from Petsmart.
BTW , the white on Parker's chest, thast's where the angels kissed him Susie. In my house that mean he is a kitty here for at least the second time.

  17. TL...I love what you've done to your Catster page. Oh...& I couldn't resist the gift giving. It's just so darn fun.
I came across some pics I still had on my camera of My sweetheart Runt aka Singer that weren't downloaded. I'm going to see if my neighbor will help figure it out & I can put her on my avatar. She was a sleek black with white on her chest. And as cute & loving as her babies Thumper & Spider were. I'm glad they're with there forever moms & dads.
I also got a cute shot thru the kitchen window of Ms. Hissy & daughter Prettygirl sleeping together. I'll have to share them. Do I sound like a proud meowmy?

  18. You deserve to be a proud meowmy for all you do for the kitties. I don't, as a rule, go see the kitties at Petsmart when I'm there (just for the reason that I'd want them all). But something that day made me look and Chance stole my heart with one look.
