I think I'll settle in and hear the kitty stories with a giant mug of white chocolate cocoa. I am wearing my Christmas nightie, robe and slippers. Of course I have my leopard fake fur comforter. I settle on to the comfortable chaise lounge to hear all about Hopper's life on the high seas...

(70 posts)-
Hopper tells Andy not to let anyone know he was nice & rescued him. Wouldn't want to ruin his bad image,ya know? He begins to tell Cuddles that it's far from glamorous out there on the streets. Night beasts,I tell ya. Coyotes,foxes,racoons...all wanting to hurt ya & steal yer food. And it gits so darn cold,it makes a kitty shiver. No, it's no fun on the streets. I'm real glad my meowmy rescued me.
You all have showed me it's okay to be nice, so...Let's all say (with paws up) Happy Burfday Rotley!Oh & btw maties...I don't want no planks! This fat cat don't do water! :)

Hi Baby! Here's your sorry Aunt Lisa, straggling in way past the stroke of midnight. Your auntie had a hard day, which is no excuse for missing your party. Misty and CJ are already in bed (without me!!) but they love you and hope you had a splendid party. Tex came in through the window tonight to add his sweet wishes also. We will call you later this week, and hope for a mew or purrrr on the phone...much love, Aunt Lisa in Austin+Misty and CJ

Fred and Cricket are dismayed that they missed Rotley's party. They are so upset with Meowmy for being busy yesterday.
Fred had his dress clothes laid out and Cricket had her party dress ironed and ready to go. They are just beside themselves with horror.
Meowmy tells them sorry but how about if you surprise the kitties and Miss Emma with breakfast? Cricket jumps up and down. "Oh yes mommy!!!"
Meowmy packs a basket with salmon sausages, chicken bacon, fruit, cheeses, fresh cream, coffee, an assortement of bagels, rolls, and danish for the kitties and Miss Emma.
"Now, Go through the wormhole and be quiet, they might still be asleep, tell Miss Emma, thank you for inviting you and sorry you couldn't make it last night but you wanted to bring your friends and her breakfast for Rotley's birthday. Behave yourselves and come home when Miss Emma says so"
Fred and Cricket still in their jammies and slippers, slip quietly through the wormhole and land in Emma's house. It's a bit quiet but the kitties are starting to stir. They place the basket on the table along with some peach roses for Miss Emma. Then they pad off to find Miss Emma.Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

Leela sends Happy Purrday wishes to Rotley. She's sorry she missed the party; she was having some quality time with her meomy and daddy. The 3 of us are a team and are supporting each other thru the stress of home renovation. She hopes Rotley got the carefully wrapped present she sent thru the wormhole. It's a basket lined with a cozy knit afghan and has some nip toys, some scrunchy balls and home-made treats that her mama's friend's daughter made (must get that recipe).

Oh my!!! We're VERY late!!!! Our mommy wouldn't work this weekend so we have missed the party!!!! BooBoo is in tears because she wants to see her Thor!!
The kits would like me to ask if they can come thru the wormhole to bring Rotley his birthday gift and if Thor is near by, maybe he and BooBoo can visit for a while. Blackbeard would love to hang with the boys for a while too if it's okay with Mama Emma!! -
Thor helped Fred and Crickett and his darling BooBoo through the worm hole, and pulled the laughing Blackbeard to his feet (Blackbeard rolled through the last couple of yards of worm hole).
The breakfast was heavenly, thanks to the wonderful goodies from Fred and Crickett, and there was so much that all the kits stayed through lunch and into tea time. And the peach roses filled the entire townhouse with a wonderful scent, mingling with the aroma of roast coffee, homemade danish, and hot nip chocolate. Thank you so much, CM!
Thor whipped up his special omelets and he also made some wonderful mimosas for BooBoo and the older gentlekits. They settled by the fireplace for a couple of hours and sang some of the most beautiful carols ever. BooBoo's coloratura blended with Thor's baritone, and all were enraptured with Windi's soprano and Willow's clear alto voices.
The guests are now leaving in time for dinner with their parents, and each one has a favor bag with peppermint mice, greenie candycanes, and the small Christmas trees that they decorated.
Rotley says thanks for all the lovely and wonderful gifts, and that this was the best birthday party a five-year-old could ever have!
Ten minutes later, the birthday boy and his big/little brother are curled up in the bay window, watching the snow flakes and examining all the afghans, toys, remnants of pinatas, and storybooks.
Ruggles looks at the red sleigh on the patio.
"Fifteen more days to the caroling party," he sighs.
The two kits curl up and sleep deeply, as the winter afternoon darkens toward evening. Quiet returns to the house, and Emma sits on the daybed couch in the living room, smiling into her mug of French roast coffee.
Lovely time -- thank you, all!

Willow and Windi have arrived home and can do nothing but talk about their day with Rotley and Ruggles and the wonderful party.
Windi dashes into the living room and sets her newly decorated tree next to the big one. She sighs and thinks that it is so beautiful that she will never remove a single ornament. But, just so that she doesn't get rusty and lose her skills, she removes an even dozen ornaments from the big tree.
Willow runs to tell mama that there is to be a caroling party and that she and Windi can't wait to go! Then she softly mentions that they will be needing new outfits.
Happy Birthday, sweet Rotley! And many, many more!
