Good Morning and Afternoon!
The buffet is set up, we have anything your heart desires on it. Coffee, tea and juices are ready to go and the agency kitties are playing and running amok, having fun and looking for some cuddles.
This morning I have to get Maddie ready for Grandma's again and get me ready since I have an OB appt at 9:45 so it will be a busy morning once Maddie gets up.
I will most likely be on and off all morning. Please come in and help yourself :)

Hi Deb!! It's actually going to be in the 40's today, all the snow is melting and it's rainy, so not too bad. Once I get home from my running around, all will be good, then it's nap time...lol

Or maybe I should say good night, because I am just about to totter off to bed after working til 3:30 AM on a report due when the sun comes up. I hate all nighters!
In the meantime, I'll take a nice warm glass of milk, maybe with some chocolate syrup in it (do they still make Ovaltine? I liked that so much as a kid that I used to eat it straight out of the jar.) And a couple of agency kitties to purr me to sleep as both of mine have hung out the "Do not disturb" sign.

Hi GA...go to bed :) You need some rest for sure. They do make Ovaltine, I buy it actually and make chocolate milk all the time. ..it's the powdered type however.

Morning GA, yep they still make Ovaltine! Go to sleep my friend and wake up well rested.
CM, doing so far, the acupuncture and the massage treatments are helping. The arm goes a bit numb at times but not for a long time when it does. I know you will be glad when you get home after the appt to take a nap and rest.

I hope your arm gets better. I had carpal tunnel, well still have although not as bad, and it was horrible it went up to my neck and in 1999 had to have surgery on my hand and elbow just to stop the pain and numbness. So in a way, I know what you are dealing with Deb.

80!!! it's going to be 80 here today!!! With this roller coaster weather, we'll all be sick for sure!!! last week is was 59 (crazy).....rummages in closet and pulls out shorts (again!) I've got to play my favorite golf game of the season today!!! It's a mixed scramble with teams of 6-8, and crazy layouts. They have us hitting from #1 tee to #4 green; over the cartbarn, etc. !! Really fun!!!...... actually, come to think of it..... kinda like my normal game!!! LOL!!! Maybe I'll do pretty well!! Check in with all this afternoon.... wish me luck! Hope everyone has a beautiful day!

Hi everyone! Guess many of you are checking out as I'm checking in. Anyway, I could go for a big glass of Ovaltine. I buy it all the time. It's not as gritty as when we were kids. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream and...yummy!
Trying my best to stay upbeat but it's getting really tough. Every day seems like a new problem with the renovations project. They need reminding that it's no longer a job site, it's someone's home and their property is NOT fair game. There's no sign of Christmas at my house, however, THANK YOU to all of you who have sent cards. We read, admire and smile at each and every one, then I have to put them in a drawer for safe keeping. *sigh* You all mean very much to me.

I got my cards but need stamps to get them mailed. As Joan mentioned, it's so nice to get all the cards and {{hugs}} to all my TDK family.

Morning everyone! Popping in just for a second (bacon crispy and coffee black,pls!!) Have to drop Linus at the vets...I'm trying to keep my stress down so he doesn't suspect...I know I'm in for a fight once I pick him up to stuff him in the carrier!!
AZDeb, I hope your arm feels better..I had surgery 2 years ago for melanoma, and have residual nerve damage since...it's the worst...can't wear long sleeves some days! Not helpful in the winter! I've thought about acupuncture myself, but always been a bit skeptical...do you feel it's helpful??
Good morning all! Just on my way to get breakfast and wanted to 'hi' to everyone. I too love all the cards I've been getting - thanks so much - I'll never forget how much that meant to me last year and it still means just as much. I ordered my cards and they came in and now the rental office has lost the box!! Goofball that *I* am when they told me that I just broke down and cried. *gives self a good hard mental shake* Hopefully they can find them, and when they do, I'll send them out. I hope they arrive by Christmas time.

I'm running out to play a tennis match. I'm tired this morning as I had some anxiety problems last night and couldn't get to sleep. I did get up early enough to go to the post office and now I'm running in, grabbing my tennis bag and a cup of coffee to go and running out. Just wanted to say good morning. I'll be back later!

Its only 28 degrees here in MA and cloudy *BIG sigh* soooooo depressing. And I seem to be a wittle more tired today than I was yesterday, I think da baby is working overtime in my belly lately! Maybe she'll let me sleep tonight, if the kitties allow it, They've been cuddling up to my belly at night too! Its pretty cute actually! Hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!!!!!

Morning, Everyone! When I went to the gym at 5:45 am this morning it was 55 degrees. But we have a front blowing in and it's supposed to drop to the low 40's by noon. I think that I am going to bake some cookies!

Good morning all. It is around 40 degrees here this morning. Brrr! My cats are like velcro now. Sylvester can't seem to get enough of my lap and I am loving it. Mia just jumps up and does a few kneading and then jumps down. Well, I talked to my manager this morning about the change in overtime and I let her know that I am losing about $600 a month from the overtime and she was sympathetic. We discussed how several companies are announcing layoffs and how our company has been running lean so that she doesn't see any coming our way. I hope that is true as the job market really is bad out there.
I bought a lotto ticket yesterday on the way home. Mega lotto is at 170 million and California lotto is at 27 million. Half the fun is dreaming about what I would do if I won the whole thing or 5 numbers out of 5 (usually that wins between $40-200k).
GD, sorry you were having anxiety issues last night. Hope you are feeling better today.
Joan, I hope your renovations are finished soon so that you can relax and enjoy your home once again.
I got my christmas cards out in the mail yesterday. Boy you should have seen the line at the post office! It took me an hour to stand in line, put the stamps on the cards, mail them and get back to work. I am to assume that those in Calif should be seeing them in the next day or two, rest of the US should see them by Friday and international by mid next week. I am guessing of course.
I am having a nice pumpkin scone and a mocha this morning. It is quite delicious. mmmmm.

Aloha kakou... hello all ! Late to the breakfast cafe again, but just in time for brunch. Hot chocolate with whipped cream to start. Eggs, corned beef hash, bacon... that should do me well.
Still fiddling around with the kitchen last night. Working on putting up the trim. Hmmm... not going as well, easy or quickly as I had hoped. 3 hours of work last night, and probably 3 more tonight. Joan - mine aren't as extensive as yours, and I'm doing all the work myself (except for the tile) so I have great empathy for what you are dealing with !
I am loving receiving all the cards.... you are making my Christmas ! My TDK family is the only one I have received any cards from... so far. You guys are awesome.
Same goes for me, 2P, TDKers are the only ones who have sent me Christmas cards so far. Since my Mom is upset with me, do not think I will see one from my parents this year. Oh well such is life.
I definitely will share, LK. Here you go..a nice pumpkin scone with light icing on one side of it. A little sweet but yummy! Enjoy. Also, I am loving the cooler weather as I find this is my kind of weather. Love it when my kitties want to cuddle.

We haven't received any cards other than from my TDK family, either. I don't think that people are doing them as much because the cost really can creep up there. And there is to be another raise next spring in the price of a first class stamp. We are having so much fun looking at all of our cards!
