Lucky she's alive. Also please bang on your car's hood before getting in--it should scare any animal hiding under it.

Bless her heart! (Edgar is an odd name for a little girl) Yep, that is just one more reason why my girls are indoor kitties only.

Man-o-man...I used to be tough as nails when it came to seeing an injured animal. Being that way does help to keep the animal more calm...but, when I looked at that poor kitty, I gagged & then had to look away. It's amazing she didn't lose her eye. I'm glad to see she'll be okay...physically. Mentally, not so sure.

Thank goodness Edgar is going to be fine. As for her name, I had a boy kit named Lucy. The vet told my son that Lucy was a girl and low and behold when the spa visit occured, I found out that Lucy was a boy. He wouldn't answer to anything else so Lucy stuck.

I read this story this morning. How awful for that poor kitty. I think it's a great idea for everyone to pound on the engine hood before getting into a car to drive away. :(
BTW...When ours were real little we thought Shady was a girl so he started out with the name Sady...When we discovered he was a boy it was easy to come up with Shady. It worked out perfect too because his siamese colors are all maturing into different shades of white and creams so the name is very descriptive of him. =)
