    Please keep us informed, CBM. I hope that your doctor is able to arrange for a biopsy sooner than the 22nd; that needs to be done quickly, I think. I also think that the CA 125 blood test is a good idea.

    I talked to her today and asked about the CA 125 and she faxed me a lab order. I'll go in the morning since she ordered other tests as well and I have to be fasting.

    She's working on trying to get me a biopsy before 12/22 but not having much luck. I can't/won't go to a male GYN which is limiting my choices. If the CA 125 comes back negative, she's comfortable with waiting another week for the GYN visit. If it comes back positive, she'll call the doctor my 12/22 appt is with and use that as another reason to bring the appt forward.

    CBM, my prayers and wishes are with you. Might I suggest that you show up at the GYN's office early one morning and explain that you are having what is, in your opinion, an emergency. I am sure they will work you in; Dr.'s offices rarely send anyone away. With your circumstances, where speedy diagnosis and treatment seem advisable, I am shocked that they would make you wait two weeks.

    CBM, I just wanted to add, although I'm sure that your doctor likely disussed this with you, Ca125 is not an all or none test, so please have her discuss the results with you in detail. It's not a 100% either for positive or negative , I would concur that you should still pursue an appointmant ASAP.
    On the other hand , I continue to join the TDK family in the hopes that this will all turn out for the best.

    CBM, I am adding my prayers to the list for you. I know for a fact that TDK'ers prayers are among the strongest there are, and am glad to be able to count all TDK'ers as family!
