   Linus is home from the vet! We went ahead with the exploratory (no more big furry belly) and biopsy revealed no lymphoma..we are treating him for IBD..as he is already on a small daily dose of prednisolone for asthma, we are increasing the dosage to 5mg 1x daily..He's on babyfood right now and we will be switching to a novel protein diet (such as duck) to see if that helps...He will have to have a complete bloodworkup done; there was a comment in the biopsy report regarding neutrophils and possible coronavirus, but hopefully this never mutates into FIP (he's not even 4 years old yet) The weird thing is that he never had a fever; never vomited, rarely has even loose stool..just lost weight and seemed depressed in a short period of time.
   So thank you all for your prayers and well wishes for my boy...now I need to fatten him up!!

   Great news that there's no lymphoma, Sullis, give Linus lots of headbutts from me. Hmmm, fattening him up, you could always roast him some chicken legs...

   Tks all! He's loving the babyfood; probably because he's the only one getting it and the others are jealous..My cats have always been on the "chubby" side, so this is a new one for me, actually trying to fatten one up!
