I awoke from my peaceful sleep to what I thought was the sound of my son wrapping a sandwich with aluminum foil or, more likely, Rocky licking the foil from the cheese biscuits I had made earlier. Oh no. I forgot to throw away the foil that I lined the cookie sheet with and Rocky quietly took the foil off the pan and is licking it clean. I got out of bed, noticed the dog was laying in his chair, walked into the kitchen to notice no foil was on the cooking sheet because I hadn’t use any when I made the biscuits. I peaked into my son’s room and he was there asleep. I went back into the bedroom, tousled Rocky’s fur gave him a smooch then looked at the clock, it read 5:41 a.m. Yep, I’m losing it, I thought to myself. I crawled back into bed and Mittens snuggled herself at my side. The noise I had heard had grown a little louder and steadier. I then realized what the noise was. It was raining. As I lay in bed with the cat cuddled next to me she began to purr. At least I know purring when I hear it. As I stroked her fur, I heard another noise. Of course it was the distant, low rumble of thunder.

Lol, Teresa!
I woke up to my computer making a heck of a lot of noise. It has done this before (I don't shut it off), but I could not for the life of me figure out what the sound was. I finally did figure it out and turned the computer off. Later I was awoken by another strange sounds which turned out to be Mili attempting to eat a drum ornament from the tree. Unfortunately the ornament didn't make it :( -
