LOL that sounds like my Salty... he loves green olives. He knows what the jar looks like, so when my fiancee takes it out of the fridge (he eats them, I don't lol) he goes into begging/starving kitty mode, lol :)

lol Salty's not THAT extreme, but he does have a begging "meow" compared to his regular meowing. And he sits there, licking his chops anxiously, waiting for a piece to be tossed on the floor, lol

I love this video! Mr. AV and I had two cats when we were first married, Buc (a big black 1/2 Siamese with the loudest voice ever!) and Winston, a mixed black/white that we got for Buc because we worked, and he was lonely. Well, the two became best of friends, and life mates, and both lived to a rip old age.... anyhow, when we first got Winston, Buc was about 6 mos. old. Winston was so tiny, we were just walking down the mall one day, and one of those old "mall pet store" was having a special on kittens. There were at least 20 in the window bin, and they were all clawing & fighting their way to the food bowl. Well, Winston was the tinyest, but had the most spunk! He actually crawled on top of the bigger kitties and fought his way down to the food!!! We knew then and there we had to have him for our big, rambunctious Buc. We brought him home, and Buc took to him instantly!!! He loved to play, but was always gentle enough not to hurt tiny Winston. We had always fed Buc "people" food, so one night when we'd had Winston maybe about 2 weeks, I put some brocclli in their bowl. Well, Winston, who still didn't "get" it that he had to fight for his food pounced on a piece that was as big as he was... dragged it in the corner of the kitchen, and proceeded to devour it! Buc went over to see what was going on, and here's little Winston growling and gulping brocclii like there's no tomorrow! Buc just sat back and watched this tiny little fellow, who was his new best friend. Well, Winston eventually realized that he would always have enough to eat, and Buc always shared - he never ate more than half of the wet food can, or the dry dish. He always left Winston his share.... sniff sniff, I miss those two guys, they were our first "babies", and were best friends for life!!! I know they're together over the rainbow bridge!!
