I praise God for the whole crazy and wonderful bunch of you! ;p No..really I do. It has truly brightened my day today to hear such beautiful and caring
words of love & support from everyone. I just had an appointment last night with my primary care doctor in city here and he and the docs & nurses at the respite wing of the shelter are taking VERY good care of me. I also have a good social-services person there who is advocating on my behalf for some kind of housing as I type this. My monthly assistance also looks like it'll be re-upped AND I just got a wonderful Christmas card from Mom (ain't they the best ever?) with some good holiday fund$. I'll continue to keep you all posted as I now have access here through the Seattle Public Library computer system, which is thankfully less than a mile from where I'm sequestered.
I love you all.bOiNg! (oOwww...won't try that again fer' a bit) LOL

Tigger, I am so happy that you are being taken care of. I sent a card to the address on the list also, if you don't have an address for your mail to be forwarded to the post office can hold your mail for you to pick up there.
Continuing prayers for a speedy recovery and a new place to call home.

Much thanks again, y'all. It looks like I'll be staying put this
weekend as transportation in the city is pretty paralyzed by all
the snow & ice and Arctic temps (lows in the teens). But on Monday
it's been arranged that I move back to the downtown housing program
I was in from May '07 until this past April. (yAy...) That program
allows you up to a one year stay. Now I just have to pray that my
assistance is all settled for next month. Catwoman, can I message
you my new address on Facebook for everyone? I only get so much time
on the computers here at the library until I move back to my old digs.
I wish everybody the warmest and happiest of Christmases and Hanukkahs
and Kwaanzas and a rockin' New Year!>^..^<

So sorry I haven't been online in 4 days. I've been pretty much confined
to bedrest per nurse's orders, keeping the leg elevated & such. I'm STILL
at the shelter waiting for transport to the old digs of last year. The cold and snow is still here and taxis/transport vans are not running! Looks like
I won't be going there until tomorrow (Wed) at the earliest. But they're forecasting MORE snow, so I might have to wait 'til Christmas Day. Ho hum.
I only get 90 min. on these library computers per day, & I've got an absolute mess of mail to clean out from my GMail and Yahoo, plus Facebook & MySpace.
As soon as I move to the men's program I'll be online most every day, as they have computer rooms on every floor. I want to continue to thank and bless each and every one of all of you, my beautiful friends. There is NO place anywhere like this place that I've made such fantastic connections with folks.
Only 2 more sleeps, as the Canadians say!
