This is just plain mean to the small business owner.

  2. I've never even HEARD of Jimmy Choo. So he thinks that the particular combination of four letters that makes up his surname is now his personal property? Some people have such inflated egos.

  3. Well, holy cow! What a @*#%$!!! I mean, come on! Does he really think people will be confused?!

  4. I think Jimmy Choo hasn't got a SHOE to stand in! Hahahah! The names are different and the products don't even resemble one another. Some people are sooo full of themselves, aren't they? =O

  5. How stupid is that!!! What does he think? People will think his shoes are kooky!!! Some egos! I wish she had the money to fight this!!

  7. Notice, though, that this swelled head is "threatening" to sue. He probably thinks that he can intimidate this woman into complying with his wishes just by tossing his weight around, which is probably considerably less than he thinks it is. It's very likely that judges/jurors would think his suit is just as ridiculous as we think it is and would throw him out of court. I think the woman should ignore him. If it came down to the point, he just might not be willing to press the issue.

  8. I wish she would just let him sue her. She wouldn't even have to pay a lawyer. Let JC put the funds out for a lawyer. Just go to court to defend herself and see what happens. I can't imagine a judge would give Jimmy Choo the sole right to use that name. Next he is going to be suing kindergarten and nursery school teachers for calling a train a choochoo.
I have often wondered if the PERRIER company would try to stop me from using my own surname which happens to be Perrier! Maybe I should be suing them come to think of it.

  9. what a nasty man. I never knew he was like that. I am not a heel wearer but still what a nasty nasty man
I agree she should continue using her name and let the sob sue her

  10. Well, I say "Pooh on Choo!!!!". I've never heard of him so I'm not confused in the least. That must mean that they don't carry his shoes at Shoe Carnival.....

  11. Oh WW that's a terrific slogan. We should write to that woman and suggest she make placards up with POOH ON CHOO. He would never live that down because it kind of sticks in your mind. LOLOLOLOL

  12. I say AHHHH...CHOOO!!!! to all this nonsense. Ladies these are very ugly and very expensive shoes, why are they being so sensitive. They can afford to pay the leagal fees, the little business owner cannot and that is how they intimidate, right or wrong.

  13. I don't buy expensive shoes. Which could explain why I have a really painful bunion on my left foot :-(

  14. This would be a great opportunity for a Lawyer to make a name for him/herself by defending this small business owner pro-bono and wallpapering the internet with the sorrid details.

  15. Wrong on this one WWM, I don't care for high heels or expensive shoes either, but from what I've heard , it's the expensive ones that ruin your feet. You know those super pointed toes and 4 inch heels. I don't know how people walk in those things

Posted 3 years ago by Tigerlilly #

  16. Oh, well - I've never worn high heels! Well, I have but not when walking was required. I think that I just have messed up feet. I can't wear the pointed toe ones (which a friend of mine calls "Roach Killers")

  17. Roach killers...Lol!!!!
