I called the vet and was able to get an appointment this morning. I took her in and found that there was little to be done I could have kept her alive another 2 to 4 weeks but not good happy weeks. I choose to help her go to the bridge. Dr. Maggie lost one of her fur babies yesterday because of a tumor on his heart--we cried together. I knew that her two diseases were not compatible but as long as she had quality of life I wanted her to have it. Over the past week she has lost that quality of life and was clearly suffering. Rest in Peace my sweet baby.

Aww, CTR, my heart goes out to you. You showed Tessie the highest form of love by helping her to the Bridge. Sweet Tessie is now with all the kitties who will show her the best catnip to eat, the best place to find butterflies to play with and the best napping places at the Rainbow Bridge. Sending you many hugs.

CTR, there is not much more that I can say except to tell you that I am so very sorry for the loss of Tessie. But you have done a great kindness for a kitty that you love so much. You would not want to see Tessie suffer, but I know that it was a hard decision, none the less.
You and Tessie will both be in my prayers.

Thank you. I knew that with her health problems I wouldn't have her a long time but I had hoped for a couple of years more. Its been a hard year but I did get her ten months longer than I thought I would at one time. I'm grateful I had her in my life as long as I did

I am so sorry your your loss of Tessie. It is one of the most difficult times in your life and it is even more difficult at this time of year.
