   Merry Christmas and Happy New Year !

   I have a bucket full of excuses for not being more present on this site, for not sending or emailing Christmas cards, for just not being the person I believe I am deep inside. It has been a difficult year,and I won't spell them all out.

   I want each of you to know that I treasure each and every one of you. I have been thoroughly enjoying all the cards - both snail mail and email. You make me laugh and cry with and for you. This site has been a saviour to me.

   I will start with the first of the New Year resolutions. I have 2

   1) I will do what is in my best interest, not that of someone else (always with grace and tenderness).
   2) I will be the me I am meant to be.

   Thank you all for understanding when I am not here. And a great big Thank You to Kittenmaster for this wonderful family.

   2Popoki I hope you know how many here love you and how often you are in our thoughts. Whether you are posting everyday, or on occassion when you can, your posts are read and appreciated. It has been a very rough year for you. My prayer is that the next year is a little easier. Take some time for yourself and enjoy some peace this week.

    2P, I hope that you find that becoming the person you wish to be is easier than you think, once you release yourself from the expectations of others.

    Please pet Chloe and Mili for me, and rejoice in all those things for which you give thanks! I am making a batch of soap this morning, and I'm thinking of you while I make it. (Perhaps I will use tropical flower scents, the better to remind one of lovely, pleasant places.)
