Lala I amsure Willow and Windi will show up eventually once they pull their furry butts from their warm beds since Uncles Ruggles and Rotley are their main squeezes!

Maxie offers Lala so maple syrup extra thick and crispy bacon then takes a piece for himself! Wondering if his sweet dove is wake yet or still dreaming!

Willow wanders into the kitchen and gives her mama "The Look". "You called us home last night and all of the other kitties are still at Emma's having pancakes and everything! And here we are stuck with a bowl of Science Diet minced turkey for breakfast!!!" She stomps her tiny foot, then plops down with her crooked little right back leg stuck out. She knows that this always makes mama feel bad.
Windi comes in with a big wad of kleenex since she has been crying. "Wasn't I invited to stay with Ruggles and Rotley?". Her little chin quivers and she is wracked with fears that the other kitties don't like her.
Mama sighs and bundles the girls up in their snowsuits and snow boots. She packs a basket of homemade waffles with real maple syrup, hot chocolate, Mexican wedding cookies (very traditional at Christmas)and some Texas Trash for the kits to nibble on. And of course the girls are bringing a Santa Claws pinata full of Christmas toys.
Up, up and away!

Yay! maxie rushes over to open the door for his hopefully one day Aunty in laws! May I take that Pinata for you? Come on in I just know Uncles Ruggles and Rotley will be so excited to see you! He puts the pinata aside and then goes back to take the basket and starts settling the goodies out for all to enjoy! He takes Windi's and Willows paws and leads them over to two chairs beside his Uncles and seats each one pushing her chair in and handing them a plate and utinsels! Can I get you anything else? He chirps.

Windi looks at Willow in bewilderment and whispers "What's a fork????". Willow reminds her sister that they have read Amy Vanderbilt's Etiquette book and begs her, just for once, don't eat like a cowgirl.
Windi nods and decides to try and act very sophisticated. She turns her pretty head to MaxMax and says politely, "Do you have any dried grasshoppers?". She is sure that he will be impressed with her culinary knowledge.

Abby pops back to the party after putting Cuddles to bed..... she'll probably sleep the entire day away!!!! "Hi everyone" she says, "I came back for breakfast, and some of Uncle Ruggles famous pancakes"......she waves to Windi and Willow, wondering as she walks bye why Windi has a fork stuck through her hair????!! Is that a new hair fashion? "Hi Max, how was your night?" she gives him a wink, hoping he had a chance to cuddles with Athena under the stars!! puuuurrrrrr

Windi stares in amazement and thinks "Gosh, grasshoppers don't come like that in Texas! California really must be different!". She decides on a dark chocolate grasshopper and bites its head off. "YUMMO!!!"

Oh Hi Abby! He smiles back and grins! I even got a kiss under the mistletoe!
MaxMax takes Windi's fork from her hair gets her a new one and helps her cut up her pancakes and then sittign across form her at his plate he models what Windi is supposed to do! The first few bites where a bit hairy but she quickly got a knack for it and was so proud that she could look so well eating in fromnt of her beloved!

Abby goes over to Willow and says "ahem, um, Willow, I must appologize to you two..... but I found these stuffed in Cuddles' coat when we got home last night"......pulls out the song books Windi and Willow had so carefully put together. "I'm so sorry, I don't know why she took them, but I wanted to return them to you"....... as she starts to hand them back to Willow, she looks in horror at them....... oh no! Cuddles has ripped out all pages and replaced them with "Grandma Got Run Over by A Reindeer"!!!!!!

It is Christmas Day, and Rotley and Ruggles are curled up in their bay window in the family room.
"What a party!" sighs Rotley, rubbing one cheek against the holly sprig that his darling Windi gave to him during the caroling party.
"I know!" purrs Ruggles, his sweet Willow's songbook under his fat paws.
"And the breakfast!"
"And Max and Andy! What nephews!"
Both cats laugh happily.
"And," Rotley says, "Windi and Willow came back and we all played with the pinatas!"
"Lovely -- so lovely!" and both lads begin to purr themselves to sleep.
"Bye-bye, boys," calls their mama. She is on her way out the door this gentle Christmas morning. "I'll be back before nightfall. Don't get into trouble," and she kisses two little black noses.
The lads purr a farewell to their meowmy, and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
