  1. How funny! I've never seen a hedgehog in person but I hear they are great pets. I've certainly seen a few cats stick their heads in small places! Cute!

  3. I want a hedgehog!!!!
I used to feed hedgehogs outside growing up in Denmark. We'd put milk in shallow bowls or dishes for them to drink. They're cute. I wonder if you can get one as a pet here? I think AV may need a hedgehog to complete her menagerie, too!

  5. What, noone else wants one? I'm serious - if I had the room, I'd be looking into getting one. It doesn't seem like they would get along with a kitty - or several, though :(

  6. It's illegal to keep wildlife as pets here, otherwise I would love to have a few European hedgies at home.

  7. I want one!!! I very nearly bought one about ten years ago, but the amount of care hedgies demand was too much for my lifestyle back then...I traveled a lot. I think they're adorable!!!

  8. They are! It didn't look like they need much in the way of care. Miu, we used to have them in our backyard in Denmark, but of course they weren't really tamed. I still got close enough to hold one a couple of times. Do you have them in Finland in the wild?

  9. Yes, GD, some of them are pretty tame.
