My cat, Maya and I just joined this website. My cat (according to the expert we took her to) said she was a bengal and not very sure what kind. She has kind of hazel eyes and I love her very much. She is 3 years old and her birthday is late March (we are not too sure when because we got her from a close family friend because they found her as a stray and we took her in.) So, this is me and Maya!

Welcome, Maya. Our Glacier is a Bengal, but it's hard to tell if you look like him because your beautiful coat is hidden under your Santa outfit. If you are anything like Glacier, you are very playful and loving, too. Your coat is more like a pelt than hair. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!

Greatdane: My cat has weird pet peeves even though she supposed to like water, she gets terrified because something happened when she was little, I believe that the really old owners tried to drown her, then new owners took place of her, now us!

Hi and welcome to TDK. Your kitty Maya is a beauty and I am glad you found us too. It's terrific that you saved her. I always think it is really a wonderful thing when people adopt an older cat. Kittens are so tempting but the older ones also make such wonderful friends. Looking forward to hearing more about Maya.

Thanks all for your comments! I am thinking about soon adopting a cat from a humaine shelter called Happy Tails and I want to adopt two grey cats named Edward and Dustin. Dustin has a really hurt eye, he is almost blind in that one eye. I am a huge fan of disabled cats. My friend has a cat that can not digest any kind a food on her own so they have to sometimes tube feed her or they have to make 'special' food. You guys are all so kind, I am so glad there is a website like this out here! :)
