    Well, the 3 girls were quite peaceful tonight. What a treat. Of course Gem just got up and HAD to throw a hiss and growl Nora's way. And now that Gem is eating Nibs thinks it's her time for a lap snuggle. Guess I'll sign off for a bit so I can give her some tummy scritches.

    on another note.... I HAVE CREATED A MONSTER!!!.....
    last week I bought a pack of "kitty treats".. soft, moist little things.... and put them in my desk cabinet. Well, Abby "Got it"... she knows where I keep them now, and everytime I go to sit down at my desk (which is almost all day, everyday) she runs over to the cabinet and pulls on the latch... I can just hear her saying "Mom, I need a treat"!..... she is of course now, obsessed with this..... DOES ANYONE ELSE SPOIL THEIR BABIES LIKE THIS... or am I crazy???

  10. I have an itty bitty chance of traveling to Florida next May. I really loved the trip to Scotland except the part of getting sick afterwards but as I said my chances are pretty slim.

  13. There are several TDKers in Florida. That could be a nice opportunity for a meet-up! Is this related to work or just for fun?

    The only treats my kits get are Greenies and that is after getting their claws clipped. They like them, but don't beg for them. Digit does beg for dollops of yogurt when I have some. I don't mind and she knows she has to wait by her dish for me to put a bit down for her.

  16. I don't know what "Greenies" are, but I have seen them mentioned several times on this site. These little treats are just soft, moist morsels for cats, and Abby Loves them..... actually obsessed with them. This may stem from the fact, that the food I feed them (Cuddles and Abby) is the prescription diet from the vet. Cuddles has a bad stomach, so can only eat the i/d formula, or she pukes everywhere. Since I can't keep them from eating out of each other's bowls, Abby therefore has to eat the same thing. Gotta be yuck, bland!!! So, poor Abbs, really enjoys these "tastey" treats!!!!! I've tried feeding her separately, but she's not a "meal" eater. Meaning, she won't consume a fairly good amount at one sitting. She and Cuddles both "graze" during the day, but always finish their bowls by nighttime.

  17. AV, keep those treats locked up! A few times I have accidently left the bags of treats out, only to find them nicely shredded the next day. Not hard to figure out the culprit; Nibs is the only fully clawed kitty in my house. However, I think Nora talks her into shredding them open, since Nora is usually the one munching away on them...
