I am always trying to get Richard to come around, Linda! But, I will make a point of going to Catster this evening when he is in the room and spend time looking at MerD's babies and crying over how sad it is!

I am willing to chip in for transportation expenses if someone from further away can help MerD and her kits out. MerD, sweetie, I don't know how I missed this thread last month. I am so sorry about this whole situation, but you can't stay where you are miserable. I wish I could take one of your kits in, but my three get extremely agressive to outsiders and Emma doesn't play fair.

MerD... have you looked into the possibility of foster homes (for a while - until you can get on your own and on your feet)... my Son does this, not only for cats, but for exotics..... he's a creature loving guy!.... anyway, I also talked with a friend who was Abby's foster Mom when she was rescued from the Hurricane before I adopted her.... she will from time to time "foster" cats that need a temp home, but will be reunited with their "mom/dads" later... see if you can get in touch with a PetCo or Petsmart in your area, they typically have the rescue agencies numbers, and try and contacting them directly. Tell them your story, and I bet you find a willing heart.... best wishes and Huggs!!!

I wish I could adopt some of your furrbabies but I am limited to only two cats in my apt complex. :'-(
