  1. Good Morning/Afternoon..
It's 5am here and I am barely awake, but Maddie just woke up about 15 minutes ago, crying from a bad dream. I couldn't get her back to bed, all she kept saying was couch, so I put her on the couch to go back to sleep and I sit here in the dark close to her. The only light is the light from my laptop. I am a bit fuzzy still :) She goes to Grandmas today so I can at least get a nap or two :)

Sooooo, setting up the buffet, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and the agency kittehs are fed, looking for a lap or two.

  2. Morning CM. Don't worry, you aren't alone in the feeling fuzzy department. Feeling that way myself, I keep telling myself that this too shall pass.

  3. Hey Deb! How are you feeling? Any better? I have read in some posts you have a sinus infection or something like that..

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  4. Hi, Deb and CM, my goodness this is an early early-morning cafe. Nice, though. Hope you will both feel less fuzzy as the morning progresses...

  5. Feel like crud, still have the sinus infection and now have what I think is the flu on top of that....sore throat, losing my voice at times, and headache so just generally crud, sigh.

  6. Oh, no, Deb. That is just too much on top of everything else. Maybe your immune system needs some kind of a boost. How is the pinched nerve?

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  7. Morning jcat, with all the rest of it, the pinched nerve is healing, of course slower than I want but its doing what its supposed to do. How are you this morning?

Posted 3 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  8. Hi jcat!! Definitely an early cafe!!
Deb, I am sorry you feel so cruddy..can you go home and rest?

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  9. I'm fine, thanks Deb, and pleased to hear the nerve is healing. I am trying to dig a path in the garden but it was so hot here today (29 degrees C, I'm not sure what that is in Fahrenheit) that I thought I'd leave it to the cool of the evening and then it started raining!

So I have got nothing done! Except that I have been digging for two days now and am fairly tired of it... Libby and Jasper love it though! They are very keen to supervise!

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  10. digging and getting no where huh jcat? That is so nice of Jasper and Libby to supervise, I am sure they are doing an excellent job :)

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  11. jcat, see you are good entertainment for both Libby and Jasper.

cm, I am leaving early this morning, have an appointment for my arm and then will go home to rest.

Posted 3 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  12. good, I am glad you will be able to rest. Your body needs it!

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  13. That sounds good, Deb, that you don't have to stay till the bitter end. Is your daughter still staying with you?

CM, yep, supervision is their speciality, lol. Libby likes to scamper up and down the bit I've dug whereas Jasper stays in one place and rolls!

  14. silly kitties! They are just helping their mommy :)

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  15. Tee hee. I am quite glad wet cement will not be involved, they are quite silly enough to try and help with that as well...

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  16. oh my can you just imagine!
Are you doing anything special for new years jcat? Deb, you will be resting I hope!

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  17. jcat, they would just want to leave their 'mark' if wet cement were involved. Yes daughter is still with me, love her dearly but she is a lousy sick person....won't take anything but grouchy as can be :( Has to be from the paternal side of the family....

Posted 3 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  18. CM, I don't think I've done anything special for New Year since I was in my 20s... (I know, I'm so dull...) I am usually up but that's about it! I really am happiest just pottering around with the cats...

Deb, I am sure you are *never* grouchy when sick, so yes, she must get it from her dad, ;-) How sad to have both of you ill when you should be enjoying the holidays.

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  19. jcat, LOL, I wish I was never grouchy but at least I will take something to help with whatever I have.....don't feel alone with not doing anything special on New Year's, me neither except normally work that evening and then drive home on the totally empty streets in the morning.

Posted 3 years ago by AZDEBRA 5/27 & crew #

  20. We don't do anything either for New Years. I am lucky to stay awake till 12 anyway. We did go over my nephews last new years and played cards, games and ate then we spent the night. It was fun. This year, I might be in the hospital..who knows :)

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  21. Me too, I will be working on a story but at least I don't have to drive anywhere, I can sit at the computer in my pyjamas! I hope all the idiots will be off the roads by the time you drive home, Deb.

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  22. Yes, CM, today might be your last full day before Abbie arrives! It sounds like you are all ready, anyway. What time is your appointment tomorrow, when will you find out if Abbie is on her way?

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  23. my ultrasound appt is at 3:40pm, of course that's if they are on time at the dr office. So somewhere around there, I should know. I am actually having the test done at his office at the hospital so if I need to check in, I am right there. I am making sure my bag is packed just in case. I really hope I am admitted, I am ready to have her.

  24. Morning all, Hi Deb,CM and Jcat.Deb you sound like yiu have the same thing Airy has. She has lost her voice and for some reason rang home, Dad answered and thought it was a crank call and was about to hang up when he heard Erin croak out. Jcat, we had rain and wind all day, now I know who took the sunshine, 29C is 84F. CM, hope you get to nap a bit more this morning.

    Posted 3 years ago by Moonshadow_NZ #

  25. Oh, so exciting! I would score as many naps as you can today, CM, lol!

Posted 3 years ago by jcat #

  26. Morning, all! I was up at 4:15 :(
Had to open the gym and be here at 5:45 and had to feed and walk two dogs and go home and give Bobby his pill and Clavamox. He seems fine this morning - he was playing around with shoe laces and those white things that come inside packed boxes.
Yay, CM, it's almost Abbie time!!! :)

  27. Hi MS!!!
I will nap for sure. i have to do somethings around the house so they are done just in case, but trust me...I am napping for sure!
Poor Airy, I hope she feels better.

  28. I am hoping that if I do go into the hospital, I can let you guys know...I won't have access to a computer until Wayne brings up my laptop for me so I know I can call Terri(BCAM) or Julie(2bpurring) to let them know at least so they can post here.

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  29. Hi GD!! I am glad Bobby seems better. ((bobby))
I hope it's Abbie time...I have a sneaking doubt though that I will not have her this week..they will wait.

Posted 3 years ago by cricketsmama #

  30. GD, it sounds like CM is not the only one who will need a nap! I hope you can get a decent cup of coffee this morning. Yay for Bobby feeling better. CM, we will all be glued to TDK tomorrow for news!
