okay, I'm back from the job interview and things went good, I think. Now I wait again. I got a card in the mail today from Metsa, and it will be put on the mirror in a few minutes. MIL is taking all of us out to lunch to Olive Garden so I will check back in later.

Hi everyone! Today is an immobile day for me :( I was running into the room and managed to slam the corner of the table right into my knee. I already have arthritis in my knees (at 21 years old too, ugh) so it hurts to walk as it is, but now due to hitting it I have a giant cut and its ballooned and swollen up and hurts to walk. I put an ice pack on it and am taking it easy for the day.

Hello all. I took my car to be serviced this morning and they just called me to tell me I have to replace two tires on my car plus labor to put them on and do an alignment to the tune or around $600 when they are done. The darn tires cost $230 each! That is what I get for owning a Toyota Camry SE V6. Special sized tires. The tune-up is going to cost me another $500 so I will have spent around $1000 on my car! Ouch!!!!!! I will be paying for this into April of next year. I need to sell this car before it takes me to the cleaners or I just need to win that darn lotto!

Yeah, Gini, that is what scares me..spending that kind of money in this bad economy but I have to do it as I need the car. I have thought about downsizing to a used car that doesn't require so much maitenance but have to wait till mid to late of next year as I am still under water on my car loan.

Don't believe that Torchwood was cancelled but it was the end of the season so it will be a couple of months before it starts again. Burn Notice should be starting again in January with the new season.

Gini, I'm sorry about your knee, arthritis sucks, but to have a cut and bump definitely makes it worse. Hope it won't be so bad for too long.

Karen, the tune-up is for 30k where they check everything and I mean everything. I will ask to see the tires. I did price them at several places and they were not much cheaper (maybe $30).
