Please, Please Pray For My Husband...

  1. Victor has been diagnosed with cellulitis. It is a severe case and has gone into his lymph nodes. We are trying to keep it from going into sepsis. Apparently it is common with diabetics. I am really scared. He is still confused-I can't carry on a clear conversation with him at all. My son, Solomon, stayed with him for a few hours today and said he was never coherent the whole time. I so appreciate your prayers. Please keep them coming. I am just so worried.

  13. I am holding good thoughts for you and Victor. It's so special when we are lucky enough to find our soul mate and so scary when we think of life without that special person. I sincerely hope that Victor will come through this episode and you will enter the new year will peace and love. My strongest good thoughts are with you both.

  17. I am hoping to see him today if I can get an accessible taxi on New Years. We did talk on the phone and he was sounding better-able to speak complete sentences! The antibiotics are beginning to work, though very slowly. But at least the infection appears to have stopped spreading. Those TDK prayers are working, and I am very grateful to all of you. If things progress well, he may be home next Monday, Jan.5. Keep those fingers and paws crossed!

  23. RW this is good news! I am so thankful the antibiotics are working. I am also praying that you can get a taxi so that you can visit--I am sure it will lift your spirits! Continued prayers for Victor's recovery so that he may return home to you.
