Good morning family. I haven't heard anything either. I expected an email when I got up this morning, but nothing so far. Jen and Wayne have my home # and my work #, so I expect I'll get a call today. As soon as I hear ANYTHING I will post, even if I am at work.

Good morning everyone. Waves at Jen, Wayne and baby Abby.
Just to clarify dear family....yes, I called in the middle of th night, but having worked night shift on many occasions , it's the middle of the day for anyone working night shift. Nobody would even question the phone ringing at 1am in the hospital, no more than you would question the phone ringing at 1pm.
Having worked very closely with labor and delivery nurses, they are an awesome bunch, tough fearless advocates for their Moms and babies, but happy people because labor and delivery for the most part is a happy place.
But nobody was more surprised when Jen got on the phone than myself. I told them the truth, my name, said I was a friend and just wanted to know if Jen had ahd her baby. Next thing I know, Jen was on the phone. How crazy is that?, I think I asked her first if she was Cricketsmama! I figured that way she would know it was "one of those wacky TDK folks". I heard Jen tell (I assume Wayne), "it's someone from TDK"....insane. After I apologized I asked how she was and the asked for Fishie (!!!) since I could hear her cooing in the background!!! At that point, what the heck, I figure I would ask for all the important vital statistics. Jen sounded absolutely amazing.Posted 3 years ago by Tigerlilly #
