MS, really, you've never been to the races? Just remember, always back for a place as well as a win. (I've only been once, lol, but it's my uncle's favourite pastime...)

Kilroy, we were woken with a police chasing a speeding car with lights and sirens at 3.30am and we live in a cul de sac. Ended quickly thankfully.

It was quite a shock, I was aware of the siren and guessed it was a chase and as I heard it get closer I looked out the window and the car was so fast I didn't really see it but the police car stood out with all its lights flashing. Didn't get back to slepp for over an hour. That explains why I'm yawning big time here. Must head off to bed now or I will fall asleep on the keyboard. Goodnight all and Happy New Year.

Happy New Year, folks! Rang in the new year with new boyfriend... perhaps that's a good sign! He's still sleeping in with the kitties; nearly all of them seem to like him. (I could be wrong, but I *definitely* think that part is a good sign.)
Dawn is breaking; sunshine on a cold day here, but I'm looking forward to spending the day with loved ones. How is your day going so far?

Morning all! ....yawns and stretches..... tired (up late), but not hung over (yea!).... had a couple of glasses of wine, but that was it!.... nice diner with friends, then biked home. Hubbs and I rang in the new year together! Saw an awesome firework show from Downtown - we could see it from our porch. Daughter made it home safely (2am) and Son spent the night in Sarasota with his Frat Bros. All is well in the Griffin household, I greet the New Year with a smile on my face!!!
Family coming over today for food & games, so I've got to get cooking..... Happy New Year to everyone!!! CM - you are amazing!!! Please try and rest some today, and give our little Abbie lots of purrhuggs !!!!
Morning, all!
I ended up staying over at one of the dog-sitting houses and didn't make it to midnight. I had to get up at seven to start the rounds of dog-walkings, so it's just as well. One dog-sitting client is coming home today and Old Boss is leaving today for a few days, so I'll be going over there and taking care of his animals. I went and fed my friend's kitties again this morning and one of them had thrown up all over the place again, but they both seemed fine. Henry and I are becoming great friends - don't know how they can say he's people shy and that no visitors ever see him!
Morning everybody, hope you are all feeling fit and fabulous today. BF is making sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. CM, glad you are rested and feeling well. It's sunny and VERY cold here but Calvin and Ed are doing their best to keep us warm. Looking forward to the bowl games later.
No Catster page; I limit my Internet time so I can get other things done, and I can't post while at work (company policy). I may set one up in the future. Sophie is definitely the boss: she rules over her two much larger brothers. When I got her from the SPCA she had a very bad URI and they advised me not to take her, but I nursed her back to health and now she is the Alpha Cat.
Great work, Sisncats! I have four kitties, one of which have diabetes and a mild case of kidney disease. He (Juuei) has worried me so much but lately he has cheered up and has even challenged the other boys for a fight! To me he is still milk, honey and rosebuds and I am so happy to see he ain't picked on any more.
