  1. I was wondering if it would be all right to copy your beautiful poems and give them to Tessie's vet as she lost a furbaby one day before I lost Tess. If it is OK what names should I put on them as I want to give proper credit. You can email me at sandibear59801atyahoodotcom if you want. I'd appreciate it and I would like to share these poems. Thanks sandi

  2. CTR, this poem is also about losing ones cat. No my work but Author unknown.

And God asked the feline spirit,
"Are you ready to come home?"
"Oh yes, quite so" replied the precious soul.
"And as a cat, you know I am most able to decide anything for myself."

"Are you coming then?' asked God.
    "Soon." replied the whiskered angel,
    "But I must come slowly,
Because my human friends are troubled, for you see,
    They need me,quiet certainly."

"But don't they understand?" asked God.
"That you will never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined for all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed,?
It just is. . . . forever and ever and ever"

    "Eventually they will understand,"
    replied the cat.
"For I will whisper in their hearts that I am always with them.
"That I just am. . . forever and ever and ever."

  3. Well even if the author is unknown, it is a wonderful poem that even though it has been some time since I lost a furry angel, it comforts me as well :)

    Thanks Moonshadow!

Sorry Sandi, only just seen this. Please feel free (you and anyone else) to copy, use, pass on Night Night Furball to anybody you think might be comforted by it. If you want to credit it to me, it's Jennifer Berezai.
