KYK, what cool dreams - wish I dreamed of kitties last night! Just recently, Jiggs and Shaddo paid me a visit. In the dream, I knew they shouldn't be there, but I was just happy to see them. I once dreamed about my sister's deceased cat, PJ. Similar dream, in that I kept saying "PJ, you aren't supposed to be here". There was another cat who I didn't know too well with him. Later that day, my sister called to let me know her cat Jackie, had passed. She was shy and didn't come out for anyone who came over so I didn't know her too well. Morning, all! I had a good night's sleep. For the second night in a row, Bobby didn't cry and howl and actually let me sleep! He even came to suck on the blankie this morning!
I'm having a crazy morning. I'm trying to track down some money I'm owed. I texted front desk girl and asked her to get EBL to write me a check that I can go pick up early so I can get it to the bank. She said she'd ask and then asked me if I can get in to work early today. I texted back I'll come in early if I get paid. Haven't heard back and that was over an hour ago. I'm trying to track down my friend (the dentist's wife) to get paid, but she's not home. As upset as she was about her husband leaving, now her daughter just went back to college (goes to college with AV's son) and she's sad about that.
I'm a few days late in getting a roster ready for a new tennis team and now I'm working on that and absolutely flooded with emails from the players. Arrrrgh. -

Ugh, poor GD. Hubby does some of the scheduling for a group of guys he plays tennis with (nothing fancy like a team, just a bunch of guys who play together), and the e-mails and phone calls are NUTSO some times. And heaven forbid someone gets sick and needs a substitute - more e-mails and phone calls! Drives us both bonkers.
I'm glad Bobby (and by extension his mamma) had a good night.

Awww Joan..It was nice that you got to see Jiggs and Shaddo :) I had always heard that if you dream about a passed loved one, that means they crossed over, maybe it's the same with kitties too..they are letting you know they are safe and where they are supposed to be.
Hi GD...Yea for Bobby, that was nice he let you sleep and got in some blankie time too. It sounds like you are having a crazy morning. Nothing like asking people for money that they owe you. That gym sounds like it's going down the tubes and fast!!
AV, I hope you can get your answer. Trying to get through to the DMV is like the IRS, always busy and if you get through, no one can answer your question. Are you calling a local office? It sure is a pain, Kilroy, but it's worth it - for the most part! I'm making sure I put plenty of subs on my roster just in case.
I still haven't heard back from the gym and the dentist's wife hasn't called me, either!
After the alarm-fiasco on Sunday, I was ready to tell her I don't want to clean the office any more. It's a pain and especially if they're having touble in their marriage. They're working on it now, but if they dosplit up, I certainly don't want to be cleaning the office anymore. On the other hand, if the gym is getting to the point where they can't pay me, I need the cleaning job for right now. -

Good morning all. well, I was all nice and rested from my twelve days of rest from work and what do I do, I stayed up till 12:30am on Sunday night and up till 11:30pm last night. I am such a night owl at times especially when I get on a project and can't let go of it. Last night I was trying to transfer pictures from my digital camera to my computer and I couldn't get it to work. I figured out I had the wrong settings and finally got them transferred. I had dreams but I do not recall them. I did wake up in the middle of the night to find Mia sleeping next to me so I guess the cat bed wasn't enough for her last night. She wanted to be on the nice down comforter sleeping against me. I was loving it. I need to go to bed by 9:30pm so I will DVR any shows that start tonight. I need to sleep and stay off of my computer at home tonight.
I have several projects to take care of today here at work and will be needing a nap by 2pm. Good thing I am finished with work every day at 4pm now (no more overtime allowed).
Joan, I hope they finish you renovations. My parents house took 18 months to renovate (tore alot out and replaced) and so they rented a house closer to town.
GD, glad you got some sleep. Hope you get paid from the Gym and from the Dentist's office. Bobby, you acrobat you! Get that spider for your momma (they make good snacks sometimes).
SOM, I love the photos of the cards, your tree, and of Charlie under the tree. Very nice!
Kykat, what a wonderful dream! I would love to experience something like that. Sadly, I cannot remember when it was I last dreamed of Whiskers. I still miss her from time to time even though it will four years at the end of this month that she went to the Bridge.
CM, how your feeling? Is your pain lessening? Mind WWM and all the TDK nurses. Hope you can get some rest.
I had a nice lunch with a friend yesterday. I worked from 8-12, lunch from 12:15-1:30 and then done with work at 4pm. It made the day go by so fast. I don't normally take lunch (I eat at my desk) so I didn't feel guilty about taking it yesterday.
So a nice large mocha with whip cream would be nice. Thank you very much. :-)

Grrrrrr - I just drove to pick up my mail and the stupid dog-sitting client hasn't mailed me a check. Still no word from the gym, so I'm not going in early since they're not paying me when they're supposed to. No word from dentist's wife, either. At this point, I feel like throwing something!!!!! >:-(

Hands GD something large to throw at the wall. That is so frustrating that your clients are not paying you when they should. So rude and inconsiderate. If the gym doesn't give you a paycheck when you come in today then you need to call the labor board. That is absolutely ridiculous! They are a business and payroll should be on time every time.

GD--if they don't have a check waiting for you when you get there--WALK OUT THE DOOR!!! Geez, if they can't pay you for the work that you've already done, why continue to work for free? They'll take advantage of you only if you allow them to. You might even call EBL ahead of time and tell her that you expect your check or you're leaving. The worst that will happen is that you won't waste your time working there for no pay!

Arrrrrgh, got an email from Dentist's Wife. She says she hasn't written out the check, nut probably will tomorrow. She's still having big issues with her jerk of a husband who now is home but refuses to talk. She feels like crap and needs moral support, just like my trainer friend at the gym does. It's hard to be supportive for people when you've got yourself to take care of, too!
Still no word from the gym and it's too late for me to go in early now, anyway. That check had better be in my hands before EBL goes out that door to leave for the night. Arrrrrgh!
