Oh, Molly! Poor baby - it is amazing what our fur babies will eat.
Molly, just confine your snacking to Greenies from now on!

Sounds like you have a natural born vacuum cleaner MMM. Poor baby. Glad she is cleaned out and on the mend.
I just read the book Dewey, and he was a library cat who had a fetish for rubber bands. Such finicky eaters these 4-legged loves are, but will ingest so many other things that don't belong!!!!! Go figure!

Yay!! I went to see Molly tonight before I went into work. She was just coming out of the anesthesia, snuggled in some very warm soft blankies, with big dilated eyes! They said she probably couldn't see me, but she reacted to my voice. Dr. said she surprised him, awakening so quickly. He said she was really good, he called her a "sweet cat". I know she is--Max is, too.
Dr. Pelia said he'd call me in the morning and let me know when I can bring her home. It's very cold, windy and snowing--I'll have to bring one of her blankets to wrap the carrier in.
The gals at the desk showed me what was in her tummy--I couldn't believe it!
There was stuff that I didn't recognize. There is really nothing in my new apartment that looked like what was inside her except the cord from the blinds. I wonder how long this has been going on! I'm just not sure what to spray the bitter apple on once I get it. Oh, they also showed me her tiny little stones that were in her bladder. Amazing.
Max is kinda lost, he's laying in my lap as I'm typing right now. I keep telling him Molly is ok and that she'll be home soon. He meowed several times during the night last night, but I called him back into bed and tried to comfort him. Hopefully, we can keep this from happening again.
Thank you all for your care and concern.

LOL, GD. but it's actually a good idea! I think she's a "closet" muncher, though, cause I never see her doing it.

I'm glad Molly came through the surgery well. What a little pill to consume so much unusual crud!

I am so happy for Molly MMM. I had a kitty once that loved to chew electrical cords. I never understood why. Of course everything(I mean EVERYTHING)was always left unplugged but he still chewed the unplugged cords! I would answer the phone and not hear anyone on the other end, I put on headphones to listen to the stereo and heard nothing, I think you get the idea. I don't understand this chewing thing. So happy to hear that Molly will be okay. It brought back some memories!
Glad to hear that Molly will be alright, now let's hope that she changes her dietary choices.

MMM, I am glad Molly is on the mend, I have been thinking about her & you. I wonder if you could get a cardboard box & Molly might chew on it. Booger is a chewer and i keep some kind of empty cardboard box in the house at all times and it helps with his chewing. (((Molly & Max & MMM)))
