  1. Hi Metsa, yes it sure is hard to come back to work after the long holiday! Doing ok here - my boss left for greener pastures and though the board hired an interim, you-know-who takes on a few more hats. Oh well, at least I'm never bored at work!
AV, Glad those meds are helping Cuddles. I just had to giggle at your post about finishing stuff up like putting blinds up. The crew working on my house put blinds up weeks ago, and one of them is already broken. What I don't understand is why they are doing all this finish-up stuff when they still have major projects to do. We keep saying, "soon, soon", but when is soon? Soon. *sigh*
So happy the Bobster is back to his old self, GD!

  2. Thank you, Bobby. That toy looks like lots of fun. George has a Turbo Scratcher with a cool ball that lights up when he bats at it, and he plays with that sometimes, but then it sits, ignored, for days and days. The toy he loves most of all is his Cat Dancer; I just had to get him a new one because he chewed the other one to bits, and when I brought the new one home he went nuts for it like he'd never seen one before.

But during the day, if he's in lazy mode it doesn't matter what toy I tempt him with, he's not budging!

  3. Joan, Hubbs is a general contractor, so I laugh because I constantly "am having work done"! How long will it be?...... he always says "two weeks" LOL.... go watch the movie "the money pit" with Tom Hanks and Shelley Long, everytime I get frustrated, it makes me laugh

  4. I have left the diffuser plugged in, the little jar lasts approx 30 days and then I take it out. It gets warm but I haven't seen any problem as long as you check to make sure there is still some liquid in it.

  5. Tee-hee! How many times has someone mentioned "The Money Pit" to us?! I figure you can usually bank on at least twice the amount of time they estimate. So far, I'm right!

  6. Yep, I own a copy, so when I get too frazzeled, I can get a good laugh!

  7. Good afternoon all.

Joan, please be carefull driving on those icey roads. I know you already know this but just have to mention it.

AV, that is great that the kitty valium and feliway are helping poor Cuddles.

Kilroy, glad to hear that George settled down. I know what you mean about how sometimes the toys just don't garner the kitty's interest. Sometimes Mia will just watch me play with the toy trying to get her to chase it. The other night I got so frustrated that she wouldn't play and I was tired too so I took the string on the wand and beat the floor with it. Mia then came over to me and rubbed up against me as if she was saying, are you okay, momma.

GD, very glad to hear you got paid. Hope that all your clients learn to pay you on time.

It is freaking busy here at work. We have meetings prep galore and lots to take care of now that they are utilizing me more (yay).

  8. Ok, I'm in no hurry to go home - there's no power there. Going to kitty daycare and will play with Leela for a while before heading up the mountain.
SMM - I know what you mean, I often tell hubby to be careful or something obvious like that. Stuff he knows, but it's my job as his caring wife to say it. Thanks friend!
    See y'all tomorrow!
