  1. Just heard last night in class that we have a date and time for Arizona Aloha Festival. We will be performing on Sunday,March 15 at 1:30 p.m. I pray it won't be 110 out that day !!!

You'll have the opportunity to see the whole program on Thursday night as well... it's one of our dress rehearsals.

ACK !! I'd best get moving on costuming - since I'm the coordinator.

  2. Gosh, I would love to see you dance, 2P! You saved that site where you found your fabric before, right? Just don't wear any coconuts......

  3. Excellent! I can hardly wait!! You have a new video recorder, 2P. Maybe I could videotape your dress rehearsal???? Just a thought. :)

  4. Come on over WWM ! We'll have a great time. I have many many sites I go to for fabric. The choices are endless! They are, of course, all in Hawai'i.

Um... we don't do coconuts LOL That is actually more for Tahitian. Our Kumu would not do that anyway... just not becoming to her physical stature. *wink*

  5. KW - yes I do ! And I would love that. And/or you could video the performance on Sunday. Could get kinda crazy at the rehearsal... the studio isn't all that large. And I'm SURE there will be multiple interruptions. Been there, done that ! LOL

  9. Gosh, this makes me think of the yards of Hawaiian fabric that I got there last year to make a quilt. And it's still sitting there. I think that I need to get going on that - all of the fabric was so beautiful. We went to a fabric store in Hilo. Mr. WWM was soooo happy!

  10. Oh, there is a BIG one in Hilo. I haven't been, but I've read about it the net. I went to a smaller one in Kona. OMG ! I bought SO much fabric. Now to DO something with it. I have a dresser drawer full of fabric that I bought just for me. Not to mention all that I have custody of for costuming for the halau. ACK ! I need a bigger house

  11. WWM, maybe you should bring that fabric to Sisters, Oregon in July for the "Quilter's Affair" classes. I'm taking a class in Hawaiian applique. ;D

  12. I betcha that's the one that I went to, 2P. It was HUGE!!!!! It was a quilters paradise! I told Mr. WWM that really he should be thankful because all of the other tourist ladies were buying jewelry with black pearls but what was I buying?

  13. Isn't that the first rule of quilting, WWM? "You can never have too much fabric." lol

  14. She who dies with the most fabric wins!!! I may not win but I'm sure in the race.

  15. Oh, yes, That's how the rule is stated!! I'm not sure I'm in the race yet, but I am working on it very diligently!!
