  1. MMM please do not do this to yourself! You are doing the very best you can and Molly knows you love her! Prayers for Molly to take to the food and recouperate, and prayers for you that you also recouperate and feel the healing power from the TDK family.

  2. We've all been through this before---why is it still so hard? Max seems to know, too. He just sits on my lap and watches me cry.

    I don't know what I'd do without you, my TDK family, my family and all my friends. Thank you.

  3. I'm so sorry Molly is struggling, Jimmie. Are you up to going to see her? It might help you both. You could bring a piece of clothing you've worn, but not yet washed to comfort her when you aren't there. {{{hugs}}}

  6. Please try to convince the vet to let you be there with Molly. It will do both of you so much good. She may rally just because you are there. And you will be able to accept the worse, if that's what it come to, because you'll know you did all you could. Maybe she will calm down if you are helping to feed her. All it takes is just a little food to stay down to start the healing process.

  22. I spent about half an hour with Molly this morning--she seems ok, but she's still not eating. Got to hold her (even with IV in her paw)and snuggle with her. I told her she'd better start eating, because Max and I want her home.
    Poor baby, I don't know how she can rest because there was a big boxer snoring under her cage. I told her I'd be back tomorrow. Dr. said he'll keep her until Saturday to see if there is improvement. If not, well.....

  23. Thanks for the update, MMM. I'm sure she was happy to see you and spend time with you. Is there any chance they could separate her from the boxer???
    I hope she gets her appetite back. Did they let you offer her food? I will keep sending the healing white light her way. {{{hugs}}}

  24. Thank You MMM for letting us know how she's doing. I also wish they use some common sense. Knowing stress can make kitties not want to eat,you'd think they would keep her alittle more isolated from the doggies. I'm still sending lots of Hopes & Prayers that Molly start eating again. I'm so glad theyu are allowing you to visit with her (hopefully everyday). It really is an added benefit to helping them recover sooner. {{{HUGS}}} for you Jimmie & Kitty Kisses for Molly & sweet Max.

  26. I have never posted before, but wanted to let you know something. When my cat (LeStat) became very sick from feline triaditis, he would not eat. My vet used valium to stimulate appetite (I think it only works that way for animals???). Anyway, it was so strange but it worked. I was there once when she dosed him. I had brought in some lunchmeat and tuna for him...we were trying everything to get him to eat...anyway, she gave him the valium injection and almost immediately, he started eating. Maybe you could ask your vet if he has ever heard of this? It was only to be used in emergency situations to get them to eat.

    Anyway, I am praying for you and Molly. Hugs to you both, Karla
