Prayers for my Molly, please

  2. MMM, years ago, my Ashley would/could not eat for reasons that no one was sure of. He stayed at the vet on an iv for a week, and finally they let me take him home. Once he got home, he ate like a pig. Only saying this to offer hope. Meanwhile, Dashy and I are cheering for Molly and sending hugs to and prayers for you both.

  4. More prayers for Molly from me. MMM, did the vet try a B12 shot to stimulate her appetite? That's what my vet gave Milo when he wouldn't eat.

  6. Dr. P called me tonight just before the vet office closed (he has been so good about doing this). He said after my visit they tried to give her some food, and she ate 1 kibble!! I had talked to her and said that she must start eating so she could home to Maxie and me--Dr. P. said maybe she listened. He is giving her nutrients, antibiotics, B-12, lots of stuff in her IV. But when he called tonight, he also said her bilirubin count is still going up, and will try cortisone tomorrow if she doesn't show any improvement.
    He is so nice, and told me he wasn't going to give up on her. None of us are!! Thank you, thank you, thank you all for hugs and good wishes and white light and suggestions, and .... just being there for us.

  10. Continuing to send Prayers that Molly listen to her mommy & starts to eat & improve. I hope your vet will allow you to continue to visit her each day she's in there. I know from personal experience that the visits are so healing for them. {{{HUGS}}}

    Your vet sounds absolutely terrific, but if there is a specialty vet hospital or clinic in the area, might he be willing to get a phone consult?
