  1. The last line says the monkey isn't consider dangerous. I can't say that I think flying doo-doo is all that safe.

  2. LOL, that's only 20 minutes from me, it's been on the news all day!!!!.......quickly takes inventory outside to be sure there's no monkey attracting food.... (i.e. orange or avacado trees)..... nope, coast is clear.... whew!

  3. AV and Dee...I recommend you don't leave home without some protective goggles or maybe even a nice helmet with face guard! Yikes! Oh and whatever you do...if you do come across this monkey..don't make him mad! Maybe offer him a nice bowl of fermented fruit to calm his nerves. LOL!

  5. Poor guy has an unlicensed breeder as an owner...very sad. Read on about his possible lack of teeth! GRRRR!http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail;jsessionid=9626EFA88002E04D850C642BD0D90456?contentId=8248197&version=1&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1&sflg=1

  6. Dee, how sad, I didn't hear that.... anger wells for unscrupulous owners..... hands Dee "anti-monkey" gear... remember those monkeys (I think around Lakeland) that got loose from that protected place, I think there were around a dozen of them .... about a year ago, and they were trying to catch them..... do ya think Busch Gardens is having issues???? and they're just not telling us???

  7. I am sure that the monkey belongs to an unlicensed owner. If it belonged to Busch Gardens, they would be making a much greater effort to capture him.

And those escaped monkeys from a few months back were not supposed to swim! But they sure did...and hung out at that sod farm for a bit. (They escaped from a property co-owned by Lex Salisbury. But you know that anything Lex Salisbury, former CEO of Lowry Park Zoo, is involved in is screwy!)

  8. Yeah, thats the story I was referring to.... I hope they caught them all. And I hope they catch the monkey in Clearwater!! Poor thing, he's probably frightened to death! And Busch Gardens is a wonderful zoo.... maybe the Clearwater monkey could go there if he's caught!!!! Anywhere that they will be well cared for and humanely treated! :)
