SMM I sincerely hope Sylvester comes through this o.k. I have read that the majority of injuries to cats comes from falling from the 2 - 4 floor balconeys. The reason is that at those heights the cat does not have enough time to prepare for a landing. Cats who fall 6 floors are more likely to escape injury strange as that sounds. Also cats do not have depth perception. They can't look out over a balconey and understand that what they are seeing is 30 feet below. My sisters cat fell 12 floors if you can believe that. The painters had forgotten to put the screen back in the window when they finished and Squeaky used to sleep on the windowsil. She jumped up and went right through. Luckily she landed in some bushes below which helped break her fall. She was young and managed to survive despite various injuries. I will pray you get a good report when you go to pick him up.

Tell Sylvester that there are flying squirrels and flying fish, but cats definitely Do Not Fly. Here's hoping all is well and he just shook himself up badly. Our Coco sustained a couple of falls when she was a feather-brained kitten. But, being a kitten, she was also featherweight and only scared by it all.
Hugs and healing white light for you both.

Hi all, I am on my way home and hope to hear that Sylvester is just bruised up and nothing more than that. The vet said that Sylvester needs to lose weight as the lighter the cat, the less impact on the body. He weights 16.125 lbs (up from 16.06 lbs). I will update you when I get home which should be in about an hour and half after picking up Sylvester.

Karin I am waiting---very impatiently----to hear that Sylvester is home and purring his butt off with you! Now if Mia mentions the fact that he smells you remind her that he is to be catered to and extra snuggled! Karin I wish you a restful and purr filled evening with your furry friends!
