  2. It's 27C(80.6F) outside and the day is hot and muggy. It's 25C(77F) inside with all the doors open and a fan running. 4pm.

  3. It's 35 here in Vero with a windchill in the 20's. I wasn't prepared for that.

  4. It's 45 here, don't know what the windchill temp is. It was COLD when I left the gym at 9:00 - took quite a while before I could get any heat in the car on the ride home.

  5. Its currently 26 here in Gainesville, FL. It is suppose to be 18 tomorrow morning! Looks like I'm skipping class.

  6. It snowed when I was in Gainesville in the 1977s during a really bad cold snap. It was fun.

  7. It's 10:25p.m. here in downtown Seattle and it's 33 degrees. They are opening up the emergency shelters for the homeless (a real blessing)

  12. Yep, baked kitties lying all over the garden. Occasionally Libs gets up to do a wind sprint but Jasper is happy just to lie there...

  13. Couldn't find Shadz anywhere today but not surprised with the heavy machinery in the gully below us causing the ground to vibrate all day. The this afternoon I caught a flash of white, further investigation revealed one cool kitty sprawled out in the garden behind a fuchsia bush in the dappled shade. The white flash was her lower tummy (sporran we call it) fur.

  14. Awwwwww. Love those flashes of white tum! Libby sometimes burrows into the high grass (nope, haven't mowed it) but she would love a nice big bush. I pulled her favourite one to sit under out (mean Mum -- but it was as big as the house and I just didn't like it, lol)...

  15. This is the first time I've seen Shadz under this bush, she used to sit under a Hebe but it got all top heavy and leggy and woody so I pulled it out. I had to endure several weeks of annoyed looks from HRH. Hopefully she and the new bush will be very happy and I won't feel daggers in my back any more.

  16. Lol, as if the garden were for our benefit and not theirs... I will have to plant Libs a new buddy bush too...

  17. hey Great Dane - I thought about going to the open..but just can't afford it at the moment. Just gonna watch it on the tele.
The weather has been so weird today. Windy and hot. We're all real scared about fire danger. I work on a farm and we have all the hoses ready. The towns around where I live were pretty much wiped out about twenty years ago and this season it's really dry and everyone is very cautious now.

  21. 9 fun-filled degrees on the mountain this morning. Down here in the valley it's already up to 22. Woo-hoo, heat wave! *goes to search for teeny-weeny yellow polka-dot bikini* My office was all the way up to 64 when I came in and with my space heater on for 2 hours, it's a comfy 72, and the sun is starting to shine in my window.

  22. 59F with overcast, rainy weather here in Tucson, AZ @ 7.58 a.m., only supposed to get up to upper 60's today. So the kits are all full of wierd energy because of the weather, sigh.

  26. How can it be 70 in the winter?????? I just don't get it. *shakes head and goes back to yelling at underlings on the conference call*

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  27. It's supposed to be 82 degrees here this afternoon. It was in the 30's this morning (had to scrape the windows in the car), so I walked out with a jacket on. Now, I'm sitting at my desk in a short-sleeved shirt. It's hard to figure out how to dress when it goes from winter to Spring in a few hours!

  28. When I was at the doctor FH they told me this weather is the main reason nobody can get rid of whatever crud this is going around. It's just....brutal.

Posted 3 years ago by HuddysMama #

  29. It's below 50 here in Sacramento and it's raining. The rain started yesterday afternoon. We've desperately needed it.

  30. Jessij, when I watched the Open yesterday, they had a huge dust storm. The weather there can't seem to make up it's mind!
