OK, so we're going to go get a new baby sister for Missy after work tonight from the shelter in Moscow, ID, and I am seeking some tips:
Last time we got a new sister for Trudy, because her sister dies and Trudy was lonely and we got Missy, I don't know if we did it right. I was so concerned for Trudy, I don't think we played enough with Missy and she was wild from the Shelter for a lot longer than I hoped.
So when we get her, we will probably keep her to a few rooms to get her used to the smells and such and then let Missy in to look at her in "supervised visits?" And then maybe on Monday let her learn to go around the rest of the house? We'll have to go back to work on Tuesday... so I'm hoping Missy will be ok with her by then?
Does this make sense to people? Any other tips?
