    LOL!! No MS, I don't. Got rid of them, the Madonna-esque lace fingerless gloves, the aforementioned ra-ra skirt and most things paisley a LONG time ago!!

    See, now when you say, legwarmers, it seems like just yesterday to me that I was wearing them! But when I SEE a picture of someone from the 80s, it's like, My God, that looks totally bizarre.

    I guess that's growing old, *sniffs pathetically*...

    Leg warmers were very useful, MS. I used to wear them under a big long handpainted purple jersey with blue spots from Zambesi. Or was that tights? Oops, memory going, there's another sign...

    I spent most of the 80's in rugged farm gear or maternity clothes. The favourite trend in maternity clothes then was overalls, like you would find on farmer Brown. Must admit they were comfortable and roomy, especially if you looked like a front end loader as I did. I cringe at some of the photos of me, overalls or huge smocks with attractive black gumboots underneath.

    Tee hee, I was at University early to mid-80s and everybody was wearing overalls there as well, MS, only with steel-toe-capped Doc Martens instead of gumboots. You would have been in the height of fashion at Vic!

    Oh yes. It was rather fashionable to be pregnant and studying, or to take your baby to all the student politico meetings. Very bohemian :-)

    jcat, you are right, very useful! cosy too. i wear them to the fitness classes i attend, and have noticed a few of the other girls come aloing wearing them, i restarted the trend!! lol. only because i was old enough to wear them in the 80's and they were probably just being born!!
